The video was based on a written monologue for a performance piece and then director worked with five actors to improvise on the monologue of their own. The pieces were designed for screens inside the elevators of tall buildings to create the conversation/monologue type of illusion with those riding the elevators. When presented, the two minute long video were cut into pieces of fifteen seconds, which were then broadcast in random order interspersed among the commercials that normally run on the screens. To find out the full story of one person, it would take about one week of riding up and down in the elevator. |
