BAU BRUT tells the tale of a rogue police officer who kidnaps and tortures three activist youths. Filmed entirely in Chicago, the film is partly inspired by the real-life case of Jon Burge, a former Chicago police officer who was convicted of torturing more than 200 criminal suspects. The film was shot on 16 mm black & white, and contains original footage of the 2012 NATO Summit protests in Chicago. |
