Set in New York City, the story follows the misadventures of Dede March and Adam Margolin, a couple who decide to marry despite the fact that each has had a previous bad experience. Adam proposes to Dede, but an obstacle arises when Adam’s children object. Dede’s efforts to win over the affections of the children is the focal point of the program. |
