All of me is a 5 minute short film, that intimately explores the secret territory of the female heart, with all it’s dreams, longings and desires. We follow Rhona, on a journey of scattered daydreams: a journey triggered by the Billie Holiday song that is playing upstairs. In this private moment in the bathtub, Rhona is free and can sense without limits. However, the loudness of her reality is difficult to ignore. Visually, All of me is a sensually graphic exploration of the intimate space, removed from its colours, its time, its milieu. Left, is a bare moment, that explores a universal question, within the personal and specific story. Many layers are hidden in this short piece, and it leaves room for discussion about different female roles, as they are represented in the three characters. All of me is a timeless pearl to be experienced with an open heart, encouraging the viewer to surrender into his/her own treasures of dreams, longings and memories. Truth is more than reality. |
