Set in the heart of Australia’s glorious outback, Antinomy tells the story of Lisa, a troubled and conflicted Melbourne girl in her early 20s. Haunted by a disturbingly traumatic event from her childhood, Lisa’s life is spiraling out of control. Her damaged but hard-working mother Michelle does her best to keep her daughter afloat, despite struggling with the demons of the past herself. Antinomy is a film about isolation, desperate measures and everyday Aussie battlers doing what they can to make ends meet. It is about the silhouette within. |
