Jennifer wants to send her Grandmother flowers. Instead of calling a florist or ordering online, Jennifer uses future technology to submit a request for flower delivery at her grandmother’s location. Her request is sent to a marketplace, where it is anonymously shared with subscribed vendors. Several vendors see there is a flower delivery request for a certain area and respond with information about their shop and special offers. Jennifer and her mother review the offers and select one to fulfill the request. They record a video card greeting for grandma. The flowers are delivered to grandma and she watches the video greeting.
