Details:

Dan awakes from a recurring dream, the dream which intrigues and haunts him: he’s a baby cradled by an alien woman kissing him goodbye. With a shake of his head, Dan starts his depressing day: the plain breakfast his mother makes his which he pokes suspiciously; the bullies who taunt and humiliate him daily; the frequent and compulsory trips to the school counselor, and not one friend in sight to share his burdens with… until today when Dani, a small sheepish girl enters the classroom as a new student and is seated next to Dan. As the lesson starts everyone begin to copy information off the board, Dani looks around anxiously, Dan hands her a pen. Dan and Dani spend an increasing amount of time together and immediately become best friends. Dan confines his secrets and his dreams to Dani which he deciphers as being premonitions of his superhero alter ego Danton. Dani make Dan the hero mask he needs to face his fears and during a fight with the usual bullies he is filled with the courage to fight back. During this complicated time and because of his insistent dreams, Dan comes to believe that his Mother is not his real mother, and when she speaks to Dan about his meetings with the school counselor their relationship is only pushed to the edge. With sad words, Dani tells Dan the inevitable truth: that soon she will be moving again and they won’t be able to see each other. Dan takes the news lightly as his dreams have led him to the conclusion that soon he will be able to fly and then no distance will keep them apart. After an argument with his mother Dan runs from the house at night and get Dani to come meet him, it is there, on the car park roof where they consider taking the leap of faith to see if flying is Dan’s super power and if he truly is Danton.
