Details:

Addiction to prescription pain-killers is rife and it’s devastating the fragile communities of northern Ontario. The drug - OxyContin - is widely abused in Canada, but on isolated First Nations Indian reserves people talk of an epidemic. The Fort Hope reserve is one of the far flung isolated First Nations communities in northern Ontario. It’s home to around 1200 people and it’s said that 80 percent of the working age population there are addicted to Oxycontin. The BBC Our World team went to investigate.
