Hospodi Pomilui is an experimental film using images from our lives showing the excesses we do to ourselves and to the earth. Covering war, lust, greed, over-population and nuclear explosion the images unfold over the music from the Russian Orthodox Church Liturgy. It serves to remind us, to paraphrase Jay Gould, when we are gone the earth will bandage herself and go on for another million years. |
