Alistair Ashcole is a down on his luck musician, who has lost all of the people closest to him through one way or another. He turns to alcohol and fixing up old bicycles as a hobby to try and escape his lonely and mundane lifestyle. One day when Alistair goes to visit a seemingly familiar grave, his childhood best friend Robert Dietrich, who he hasn’t seen in a substantial amount of time, also arrives to pay a visit. As they begin to catch up Alistair soon confides in Rob and reveals to him how terribly his life has gone since they last spoke. Rob offers Alistair his support, whether he’s giving him a hard time about his lack of motivation in life, or showing sincerity due to what he has been through; As in the end we finally understand why Alistair has come to this grave, and why Robert has joined him there.
