“Out of Reach” is a comedic, noir short film which tells the story of Cornelius Sharkey, a landlord and former marine biologist, who was forced into retirement after a vicious shark attack. Confined to his penthouse apartment, he drinks and smokes away his days, surveying life, as it happens around him. He has become infatuated with one of his female tenants, who he watches come and go each day. He believes that these feelings are mutual, but recognises there are a couple of crucial obstacles standing in the way of them being together. The first, his disability. The second, her boyfriend! The former, unfortunately, can’t be fixed. Removing the latter, however, may be enough to bring the two of them together. For Cornelius, its worth a shot at least! But while he meticulously plans the murder of the boyfriend, he is unaware that this girl in the middle of it all has some ominous plans of her own!
