Details:

Two young couples Hal (Oliver Malam) and Annie (Sophia Day), and Wayne (Errol Smith) and Marie (Ali Currey) take up the chance of a large police reward for information leading to the whereabouts of a young boy (introducing Josh Cunningham) who went missing over a year ago. Annie seems to have all the answers; she has done her research on this case and is adamant to follow through with her research with an actual discovery. Hal, her boyfriend treats this as a joke and a chance to have a bit of fun in the process and documents the whole journey with his prized possession: his camera. Wayne and Marie have also come along for the ride although they don’t share the same enthusiasm as their counterparts. A recent sighting from an elderly couple begins to whet their appetite, although this sighting is dismissed by the police as there is not enough information to support their argument. Annie and Co. need proof and they will stop at nothing to ensure they are the ones taking home the money, and as time goes on, also their lives. With the chance of making money as opposed to spending it for a change, they swap a fun summer holiday abroad for the desolate and unwelcoming woodland in the hope of £50,000. Without their safety taken in to concern, what could possibly go wrong looking for a missing boy in the vast open woodland? What they discover on their journey will leave them wishing they never even started and were rather sipping Sangria as opposed to their own blood. What began as a fun adventure swiftly becomes a guessing game of trust and survival. The fate of each character will be put in to doubt as their fears are not only realised, but new ones will begin to emerge as ‘The Search Goes On’.
