This film is actually a compilation of 6 short films and animations made by Cornish and international artists. They provide a visual interpretation of some remarkable poems written with people with dementia. Poet Karen Hayes held conversations in a garden with the residents of Trevarna Nursing Home, St. Austell and shaped the poems from the words spoken. The words of the residents have not been altered in any way. The 6 artists take different approaches to interpretation but all the films provide a wholly new insight into the minds of people with dementia.
