Halifax has had its share of triumph and tragedy, with over 10,000 wrecked ships offshore and being the site of the world’s most powerful man-made, non-nuclear explosion in history. But it is one wrecked ship in particular that still burns bright in its consciousness. For a century Halifax has executed the solemn and sacred role of guardian of the Titanic dead.
