“Charlie the Magnificent” is about a young boy named Charlie who lives in a foster home. Charlie is shy and feels doubtful in himself because he has yet to be adopted. His only friend is his stuffed toy rabbit, Hops. He also has a joy for magic. Sister Suzy is the caretaker at the foster home and the one who comforts Charlie when he is down. John and Jennifer Hill come to the home to meet Charlie. Not wanting this family to leave, Charlie does his best to impress the Hills. Feeling that a magic trick will make the family loves him, Charlie decides to perform a trick with Hops. With a couple mistakes and help from Sister Suzy, Charlie is able to perform his trick and find a new home.
