Emotionally traumatized when he was a little boy by an event involving the death of his father, “Robert” (William Bumiller) lives a lonely existence as the “Yup Yup Man” who aimlessly collects aluminum cans to purchase bare essentials and comic books. His favorite is titled, “Dark Justice” which involves a vigilante who fights crime beyond the auspices of the law. Witnessing crime all around him he confides to a bartender (David Bowe) that what society needs is a “caped crusader” who will take matters into his own hands and put a scare into the criminal element. Not thinking that it will amount to anything the bartender encourages Robert to do just that. |
