Michael McCormick, a thirty something composer, struggles with scoring the next great Broadway musical. He’s tasted sweet success at an earlier age, and now he battles with his own creativity, massive ego, and the lack of a healthy grip on reality. He makes time with the ladies but has few friends. His one bright light is Beth Jacoby, a talented actress and his best friend, though there’s something more to her feelings, something she has yet to share.
