September 2014, Donetsk airport. For the fourth month, the Ukrainian military repels opponents' attacks, who are seeking to get one of the key points for the troops' basing and transferring. A group of young soldiers gathered from volunteers comes here for a two-week duty. They study, participate in battles, and communicate with each other and with a local psychologist in an attempt to formulate their attitude towards the conflict and people.
The military drama Cyborg is an emblematic Ukrainian movie, which deals with the events that really took place in Donbas. The four-episode serial version contains 60% of new material that was not included in the theatrical version.
