Jiang Jie, a low-profile head chef, and Li Nai, a lively apprentice, were childhood friends. After many years, they reunite, but as rivals with a deep-seated grudge over a "knife-snatching" incident. Seeking revenge for the stolen knife, Li Nai goes undercover in Jiang Jie's restaurant.
