They immortalize their idols in the form of a tattoo, they sacrifice bedrooms to newspaper clippings and they travel many kilometers in the hope of catching a glimpse of their favorite star. But fanatical fandom also means more than that. It is a way to escape from everyday life, to release emotions and to belong somewhere, because as a fan you are never alone. |
