Gladiators was reinvented for the 21st century in 2008 on Sky 1, incorporating elements water and fire. From 20,000 applicants, 32 of the UK's finest athletes were selected to face 12 all-new Gladiators in TV's toughest challenge in the hope of being crowned series champion and winning a £50,000 prize. |
