Nicely subtitled, decent TV serial, story is nicely flowing, just bit reminiscent or even a copy of “Sons of anarchy” with even more emotions and gore. 4* from me

I used to love them idiots in the 90´s- had all the paper comics. But this iteration is too clean in every way. Not absurd enough. Talk about absurd with having Rick & Morty around…
But these two numbnuts were 1st. Anyone remember Mtv had a real live show at first but that struck out so they went with the drawn version?
Time was rife, then for two stupid Buddies.
I feel this is purely feeding off nostalgia. Should have stayed dead after they did America…

It’s like every other episode is good. Wish the writers would get it together and make every episode great. I enjoyed this one a lot and made me sad and I feel the Gorn will become an ally like the Klingon’s did. But fear that will be a long time coming or not all.

To people complaining it’s not funny. Perhaps you just have lost your sense of humor? Out of touch so you don’t understand the jokes? Or are you maga snowflakes just whining again?

I’ve not watched any of the season 2 episodes. Might do that when I’m on vacation. I trust your judgement on the 2nd season. Was Lady Gaga okay and was surprised to see her in this new season.

This is a story by Tom Hardy and Chuck ( his real life dad) The first 6 episodes have been written and will be in production soon. But James is not moving in time lines. He still has to deal with the drama of his sister in the last episode….

Best episode of the season so far. Should have used this one to start the series off, minus the saboteur and Boy Kavalier link Which could have been picked up later. Xenomorph costume and shots looked good.

Just watched this again after almost 18 years (😯) It’s still só good, surprised there arent any reviews.
Elijah Wood is amazing in this film. Especially playing an American. Also Charlie Hunman, chef’s kiss. I actually stumbled across the movie & just wanted 2 put it on as a little reminder but it sucked me right back in & I watched the whole movie again. Highly recommend it.

lol; I’ts Elijah Wood, wee lil frodo from Lord of the rings not Daniel Radcliffe. But none the less it is a great movie think I’ll have to watch it again today! One of my favs.

A Different Man (2024)
teteba 1 points 3 months ago.

I really enjoyed this movie because it stood out from others on the same topic. Unlike most films in this genre, it didn’t end in the predictable way, which was a refreshing change. The script, cast, and acting were all excellent, bringing real depth to the story. For me, it offered a very realistic and thoughtful take on the theme of beauty versus character.

I think I shall watch this. When I was a radio dj, I worked midnight to 6am and needed to stay awake. Enter Stephen King and his scary novels which kept me awake. Read the book and it wasn’t the edge of your seat scary but good enough to keep me awake.

Original had 6 short seasons. Just watched e01…not too shabby. But, I agree with Piglet…don’t like the look of the lead…too neat to have the experience described….same with the female detective. Despite that, I’m onboard…for now.

I totally agree! I felt sorry for the gorn, but she didn’t want to live anyway, and they were not about to let her onto the Enterprise. I remember a similar episode on one of the other series about advanced beings studying us to see if we were worthy to know them.

After 500 years, 500 years, there are still Mexican families after 20 generations that can’t speak English at work. I’d thought we’d all be half Indian, except the Chinese. It’s almost as bad as the New Falcon from Captain Blackman going “Dios mios” every other sentence while doing a hip thrust.
