Strangely enough there is a real Wolf 359 and then there is another little tip of the hat from Star Trek…the battle of Wolf 359 where the Federation got their a$$ kicked. You don’t suppose…I mean surely it’s not possible that…never mind.

Haven’t seen this episode for many years and since this was made previous to Star Trek, tos, I was surprised to see 3 actors that were on Star Trek in one scene at the beginning…one was a regular, James Doohan. The other two were characters in separate episodes, one in S1E20 Court Martial and the other in S3E20 The Way To Eden. Doohan looked young and this was only 3 years earlier.

A decent western. Juliette Lewis is a great villain and Dinklage is always watchable. With Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman’s son (Levon Hawke) as one of the lead characters.

They split up all the keys and left them out in the open where even a blind person can find it, and the Asian guy killed himself for nothing. Who wrote this plot?

It’s really not that hard to make the plot coherent without the stupid getting captured 3 times and loosing at kungfu part, I get enough of that from Supernatural. If ANY of the bad guys decides to just kill Sam and Dean, the show would have been over halfway through the first season.

as far as i can understand they want to replace the judicial system with a different judicial system because it is misinterpreted law, that the problem is the implementation through legal systems. that law should be reappraised. so they’re not changing law per se, what ever that is. how is there law? i dont get it…

It went from Alice in wonderland into a peasant mob shtfuckery in less than 3 episodes. The main character does nothing but complain, and there’s zero relatable characters in the show. Film is different from books, there’s only so much you can fit on the screen, so there has to be some personal elements that supersede the plot to keep engagement.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that she’s called Lyra, she’s just as annoying, but not as strong and beautiful as the older one that crafts rifles out of wolf pelts.

O.K., yeah, just got around to the first episode of this, and it’s pretty good so for. Just really got to the meat of it and thinking the next one will be a lot better, so will save that one for tomorrow so I will have something to watch.

Release date is August 29th. Maybe it’s just me, but Olivia Coleman seems a bit old for Cumberbatch. I just hope these characters haven’t been miscast.

keep me entertained

When you see the synopsis, the cast you know what to expect as these movies go along the same sort of vein, I really enjoy movies like this when the actors are having good fun at their work, its nice n light with a humerous bite. 8/10

This series is simmering along with great dialogue from beginning to end. The script witters have done an amazing job here. It looks stunning and beautifully shot. The pace is one point with political plots between the chiefs that are stirring the pot to one season ending climactic battle it would seem. Like the series Shogun this is a very good watch.

2nd episode in and things are starting to unfold. After a 2 year wait can they pull off a 3rd season as well put together as the first 2?
