Another flawless episode in this very well made Sci Fi series. Very much enjoying Day’s journey through the seasons. Having only seen Lee Pace plat small parts as Ronan (Marvel Films) and Thranduil The Hobbit Trilogy. It’s a pleasure to see the talent this actor really has. The season is a great pace with lots going on. With only a few episodes left I look forward to see what cliff they leave us hanging from into season 4.

I never said having a female lead in the original film was an issue so I don’t see the point? I just said that shows and movies as a whole now tend to worried more about DEI than producing a decent film or show with flowing storylines.
If you’re finding that hard to understand watch South Park’s ‘Welcome to the Panderverse’ and you may start to catch on.

Filming began a few months ago but no release date. Will also star Henry Cavill. Sometimes Cruise can be a turn off but I do like WWII series/movies so I will watch it when it is released.

Episode 1 to 2 went from bad to worse. Is worserer a real word that can be used for episode 3. Apart from Timothy Olyphant and Babou Cessay and some of Sydney Chandlers acting the rest is really bad. The direstion is at a kindergarden level and the soundtrack although good is really out of place. I’m predicting this will not get a second season due to diminishing viewing figures. Even the big Youtubers such as The Critical Drinker and Nerdrotics are pointing out how bad it is. Why cant the Industry make good Sci Fi, with the exception of Foundation at the momnet. There is very little about this series that people will keep watching for.

I used to listen to critical Drinker but he is so negative about Anything that isn’t straight white male. Yet thier goto is who the first alien movie is sooooo good. So they can’t be racist or anything because they love that movie so much and it’s a women lead. Yet an alien tv show comes out and I’m sure him and his panel (who by the way hide thier faces behind shitty ai pictures) will cry and say exactly what you commented. It’s because they’re too concerned with adding in ‘deep character development’/DEI beyond the point where it’s even remotely relevant to the story or series as a whole. Other than the story being absolutely awful, the only decent casting is geeky company owner. Timothy O is a fav actor of mine and ok, he can do the cold & calculating #2 to the boss man, but his ‘I fell in a bath of peroxide’ look for this role makes him look like a reject version of the albino fighters from the Matrix.

I’m an og ALIEN fan and I wanted to like this alot, as is the story every time a new film/comic/video game & now series; comes out. But something about the increasingly stupid ways they make actors perform now just ruins things.
Like one actor playing multiple people, but in this the actors having to act as if their children, it just makes them awkward and scenes stupefied. Really seems like it was another too many cooks in the kitchen, trying to fix what wasn’t broken.
I wish they would just take some of the amazing ALIEN books/comics & make those into movies. Such great stories & original w/ out making the focus about some other silly stuff like these androids going full retard.🥚

Monsieur Cousteau, one of my childhood heroes. I will never forget the schools of colorful fish in coral reefs - accompanied by delightful music. A feast for the senses!
That was sometime in the seventies - we had our first color TV. If we were to go back today to where he filmed, what would we find? A depressing danse macabre.
Sorry to be the party pooper, but that’s how I often feel when I watch nature documentaries. In addition to enjoyment, I have a feeling of loss.

It’s August 2025.. Almost time for Halloween 🎃 Here I am rewatching this for the hundredth time yet I don’t get bored of it. Timeless classic!
Still a lot that needs to be addressed with character interplay. But this was a better episode, I had almost given up after the first 3. Best characters so far are Boy Kavalier, Morrow and Kirsh. Naybe there is hope for this series after all,
