I know I’m late to the party but, WOW, what an amazing first episode. If it continues like this, this series is going to be epic. Glad I finally got around to watching it.

I grew up watching J. C. with my Dad. My Dad loves nature shows and because of him and our love for animals we bonded over watching his films. Great memories.

What makes zero sense about this episode. Admirals, Captains, Diplomats, Presidents all visit Risa. For Worf to sabotage the weather control system of a entire planet would have major consequences. Not op mention that Risa is a Federation member with its own indigenous people the Risains, not a planet owned or created by the federation. Pretty major plot hole in this one.

I was NOT expecting 7 of 9 to be so attractive, like holy smokes, but it kinda plays into her whole persona of being the “perfect life form”. At least thats what I understand Borg to be about, assimilate any and all cultures or species that rival their own to improve upon their own kind. I’m really hoping for an all out conflict with the Borg, if not, I may have to find out if there are any Star Trek arcs that do. I have genuine compassion for Seven’s situation, the isolation and confusion she tries to conquer as Voyager attempts to assimilate HER into their crew.

Several episodes into this, and it’s turned out to be pretty good so far…

Still no release date, but with James Norton (Grantchester) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (“Game of Thrones”), I’ll be watching indeed!

Channel 5 in the UK where this show is broadcast is numbering the series differently, S21 on here is S20 there because they have ignored S19 hence the difficulty with searches. Last bad CAM I watched was “Cowboys and Aliens…” I was convinced it was just a terrible movie. Couple years later tried it again, and it was great (action, emotion).
I can wait for DVD quality, ‘cuz I know I’ll watch it.

It is also very gory, but that tends to be short-lived / short-bursts, whereas the pointless swearing in almost constant.

Yeah I read it somewhere so I’m glad they are gonna do @ least 3 seasons so that’s a good sign that no matter the ratings they got some things cooking in those scripts. Too bad that since the original show ended, New Blood was only a limited series so only one season of 10 episodes and they are continuing the 10 episodes only with Original Sin and Resurrection instead of having 12 epis like the OG show. Plus they already said that Original Sin will have a 2nd season but has already been cancelled so no season 3 for that one. They did also say that they cancelled Original Sin to focus more on Resurrection and the possibility of being a season 4 depending on Michael C. Hall’s willingness to continue portraying Dexter so I guess we’ll see where we’re @ in a couple of years.

Been watching this show forever, These Netflix specials are more of a variety show with mostly just old school vets and golden ticket winners, with a splash of bucket pulls. Seems to be the norm for the arena shows. Not the normal Monday shows which is mainly from the bucket.
