When you see the synopsis, the cast you know what to expect as these movies go along the same sort of vein, I really enjoy movies like this when the actors are having good fun at their work, its nice n light with a humerous bite. 8/10

This series is simmering along with great dialogue from beginning to end. The script witters have done an amazing job here. It looks stunning and beautifully shot. The pace is one point with political plots between the chiefs that are stirring the pot to one season ending climactic battle it would seem. Like the series Shogun this is a very good watch.

2nd episode in and things are starting to unfold. After a 2 year wait can they pull off a 3rd season as well put together as the first 2?

I’ve been waiting for this episode since the season trailer came out in January and it was well worth the wait! Don’t sleep on the scene after the end credits. Pure comedic gold!

Wow this show is so good. Glad I started watching it and got caught up before this season started.

Some more actors getting onboard: Ernie Hudson has joined the cast of the Blue Bloods spinoff Boston Blue. He will play Reverend Peters, a Baptist pastor who’s the patriarch of a Boston law enforcement dynasty that includes his daughter, District Attorney Mae Silver, and his granddaughter, Det. Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green from Star Trek Discovery). Sonequa Martin-Green, who will play Danny’s new partner in the spinoff. I can’t find anything on the actress who will Hudson’s daughter Mae Silver. Possibly this character has not been cast yet. Boston Blue will air this fall on Fridays but no start date has been announced yet.

This is a great investigative series too, that’s a shame. My jaw dropped when I saw their is a bunch of new episodes, but am saddened no links as well.

The final scene killed it. That and the totally incongruous ‘rock’ music to close out. I had high hopes for this but it’s nearly all gone. This is typical of Disney once they own an IP. It’s not scary. It’s full of plot holes. Music is downright bizarre. The alien was supposed to be frightening. Now it’s sidelined. It make Alien Covenant seem good. ( Remember when David does pilates with the ickle baby xenomorph? The last scene was worse than that.) Tripe.

The music this season is f’cking ATROCIOUS. Holy caterwhauling hell…

You’re right I’m making assumptions about someone who watches not one but 2 youtubers that hate women and are racist. But not just watch them but go out of your way not just to bring them up several times but to also defend them. You say you have went to his page and commented about how you don’t agree with some of the things he says. Yet you promote them and still spew the same talking points. Maybe do a bit of self reflection get out of the echo chamber. Or not I don’t really care. I only commented the first time because you were trying to make it seem like critical Drinker is unbiased.

Do yourself a favor and watch the original instead. I made the mistake of paying money to see this in theaters.

This was impeccable, every aspect that was put in deliverately was perfect. But the title of the show is quite vague, I’m sure it would have been more popular and had more seasons otherwise.

I fucking love this season!

Aside from a wonderfully charming episode featuring a holographic Leonardo Davinci, the conflicts the crew of the voyager are facing are becoming increasingly dark, almost thematical in a way. I have noticed there have this season, been a few episodes where the “attacker” (a term I will use loosely as even dreams in voyager can be a dangerous place to go) has been something that aims to demoralize the crew psychologically, a planet full telepathics that try to condemn them for their thoughts, a parasitic race that experiments on you in cloak of shadow, and various situations involving complex timelines from what the crew of Voyager affectionately call a “temporal anomaly”. The first two seasons I found were all about getting used to the vast amount of invisible borders they kept crossing, some belonging to warring factions, and the complexities of having to deal with so many different species with different beliefs and or ways of doing things that have been going on long before they were even taking up room in their end of space. To now, where I feel like they are all kind of starting to break down psychologically and the conflicts they face from episode to episode, in my opinion, reflect just that. Resistance is futile cause I just can NOT keep my eye’s off of Jeri when she is on set, like holy damn where does a creature like that even come from, and they way she talks, you never have to guess what she is thinking like you do with most women lol, she just says what’s on her mind in that moment, love that kind of transparency from her character, and Jeri plays the role of an automaton perfectly.

RIP James.

As silly as most Necrostorm productions but even more boring than usual.

Ok movie, nothing special, I would recommend waiting for the good copy, rather than going to the movies.

can never have too many mindbenders, and this one is pretty good. nicely shot, music is great & decent pacing. end could be wrapped up a little tighter, but overall a solid addition to the “enigma wrapped in a riddle entangled in a quantum interlaced superposition” or whatever the kids call it nowadays…

and we get 2 more episodes.. I think thid one will go fer another season maybe..i hope..

So I have a genuine question about Tuvok, on a number of occasions he clearly states to attackers that he has strength equal many times to that of an average human, yet he always seems to get over powered by seemingly lesser and weak species.

Except it wasn’t the American government pushing. Biden wasn’t president when the alleged pushing occurred, Trump was. It was a privatize citizen encouraging a private company. If the Biden campaign made any threats, none of the relevant companies have ever made details of those alleged threats public. We did however see threats from elected Republicans to revoke Section 230 if the social media companies did not surrender their 1A rights and allow Republicans to push mis- and disinformation.

But even if we ignore the ahistorical,vacuous nonsense that’s the crux of your position, so fucking what? The government has encouraged the media to push certain narratives since the inception of the country and there’s zero prohibitions on them doing so. I draw the line at compelled speech/censorship, such as a tangerine-hued Nazi clown threatening government action that would harm media outlets if they don’t adopt the government’s preferred speech. Or the way that every media company has to give Koosh ball interviews to Republicans lest they lose access to the interviewee (or be barred from the WH press corps).

As I said, Trump voters are the most painfully stupid imbeciles to ever walk the Earth. They willfully and knowingly supported a totalitarian asshat. They’re traitors and I wish everlasting ruinous harm on each and every single last one of them.

Visually stunning movie. Woman’s life in the village 100 years ago. I would compare it to the Piargy (Slovak movie). Not nesessarily the same, but the thought behind the story is. Heartbreaking… 8/10

I can see why they cut the show. It’s a great concept, unfortunately they only thought one step into the plot and filled the holes with kungfu and guns. And there was zero explanation as to why a teenage girl’s kungfu was so much more developed than everybody else who lives in this world.
