I went to the theater to watch this and ended up walking out 40 minutes into it.Went and watch a Thai movie “Ziam” without knowing the language and no English subs and was infinity more entertained. It was terrible and lazy. The CGI was awful, gender swapping a beloved character like the silver surfer was a terrible idea. Galactus was a mindless joke. This could have been a fantastic F4 movie had they followed the original comic run when Galactus came to earth. This was complete and total drivel.

Not to spite anyone, but out of spite, which means, to me at least and maybe I am using the word wrong, that I am spiteful because of wasting 12 hours of my time in the hopes that something good would happen, and the only way I can justify having sat through 12 bad episodes is by finishing the series lmao.

I’m just about done with season 1 and I am really enjoying this show. Typical sad bastard detective series, but it’s easy to watch.

Release date is September 5th. The only actor I recognize is Daniel Mays. Most British crime dramas are good and much better than what the US airs.

There will be a season 5 and expect it close to the end of the year. Possibly 2 more seasons and needless to say, many of the characters might not be living since season 5 is set in the 2010’s.

Enjoyed the episode but I feel like there isn’t going to be a really satisfactory ending for the fans. We’ll see though. It has been thoroughly entertaining even though its very flawed in its approach.

Of the two links that had EN subtitles, one was unwatchable due to popups and the other was very low quality, so the image was too dark… had to watch the whole episode elsewhere… a pity, as I have been using the website for, I believe, more than a decade and would happily contribute to get rid of popups and screen filters…

Most vids are 2 part now and have to be converted to a single file. VDH does it automatically, my other one FVD has to have a ‘helper’ installed with it to do the same thing. If you look at the file as it’s being DL, you will see 2 files, after it’s done there is one. Some vids show up as ‘download’ and some appear as ‘convert’ on the FVD. They all appear the same with VDH with no discernment. It’s the older files that need no conversion. I did use VDH to DL from mxdrp earlier today. I tried it on others and it works for me there too, IDK why. Sometimes I do get a ‘fail’, meaning sometimes it may or may not work on different links (versions) to the same flic, on the same site. Hope that’s clearer than mud.

Why would they need to be converted?

I just DL from the first one, mxdrp. It didn’t look the same as it usually does, no DL button, but it did work. One of the few TV series I watched back then and thought it was pretty damn good, I was pissed when HBO killed it. What got me to watch it was the guy behind it, JM Stravinsky, the guy behind Babylon 5. BTW, I tried another one, version 4 and it too works, but there’s a ‘redirect’ that takes you there with all of them? IDK, but I haven’t seen this ‘redirect’ before. None look like they normally do, no DL button either. Just a FYI.
