Famous in its time, this flick ranked with Close Encounters & Jaws. It was co-written by Beatty, famed for being a playboy for sure. Has a lot to say about not just sleeping around, but whoring. Political whoring specifically. And the political ignorance of Americans specifically who are a bit too self absorbed.

Has quite a cast, including Beatty’s sweetheart Julie Christie, Lee Grant, Goldie Hawn, Jack Warden, and a early appearance of Debbie Reynold’s 19 year old daughter Carrie Fisher before she became Star Wars Princess Leah a year later. Even has Mama’s & Papa’s Michelle Phillips (California Dreaming), Playboy Centerfold Cyndi Wood, WKRPs Howard Hessman in cameos, among others.

Alright well done. Been a while since the ending of a movie or episode has made me quiet like that at the end.

What an interesting start to the new season. This is such a great show. The characters are all quirky, but the writing/mysteries are top notch.

Would never have thought it was horror based on the poster. Looks like a run-of-the-mill action flick. Glad that other commenters pointed out the genre, will definitely check it out.
