Right on…you certainly said it better than I did.

i agree with you also, no-one wants to see their friends get exploited, or not see how someone is in an abusive relationship for sure..
Lest we forget…The Night Manager; The Accountant, The Mechanic and Spaceman
And Damned it! The superbofoon himself in A working man.
This is so god damned real working class that the unions gonna bust a vein trying to compete.
My GOD! I almost forgot The Cobbler. He is all about feet, warts, swett and all. A bit kinky and disgusting, but a worker non the less. God bless America.
What true men you have.
Not outdated at all. It took me a minute to figure out the time period (1991) but once I knew that it all really fell into place. Early 90s had a lot of 80s feel to it. And there was a post-Vietnam vibe to that time period (No Blood for Oil). As for cars, my boyfriend drove a 1974 Dodge Dart (a car older than us) and older cars were more common place as it was way before “clunkers for cash” and e-check had us ditching all the big ol’ dependable autos. As for music I had to look up the release year on a few tracks as I thought they were too modern for the time period. Music from the 50s - 80s would be the most common to be heard on the radio or in stores. My favorite thrift shop only played Golden Oldies from the 50s and that was early 1990s.
Not sure how old you are but once I had a firm date on this show everything made perfect sense to me looking back. Hope this helps :)
This show is so confusing with the 70s post Vietnam vibe (hair, clothes, music, cars etc.) But it’s really post Desert Storm. Are they trying to be like Will Trent? Or is everyone just extremely outdated?

What a stupid, sick show.
i think his fallibility is endearing.. of course we want to learn from and be critical of those we should distrust, but there is something about the enduring hopefulness through mistakes, neither nietzschean nor the blind faith he rails against. its a tight rope for sure..
If you haven’t done already go and check her out in Fighting With My Family. https://www.primewire.tf/movie/877316-fighting-with-my-family
I’ve seen it, but thank you! I’ve realised I’m familiar with most of her work, granted it’s not very extensive. The Wonder (2022) is another gem.
I watch sitcoms to “lighten up” so the dramatic turn always pisses me off! The many story-lines for these two idiots just don’t make it work anymore…they don’t have anywhere to go. Bring in some other “creative geniuses” or wind it up already!
Couldn’t find this on IMDb. They have something there with a similar name, but it’s a podcast….
So I circled back around and checked, this was never made :(
(I don’t know who all is voting as if they saw it, but it has a really great rep here on Primewire!)
Man I miss Leslie Nielsen. His comedic timing was always perfect. This movie is a classic, and you simply can’t make them like this any longer.
Have you seen him in (the classic) Forbidden Planet? https://www.primewire.tf/movie/104588-forbidden-planet Amazing movie and amazing role. I miss him, too. He had such a natural talent. Effortless. RIP.
4 hour long infomercial for billionaire Richard Branson’s Cruise line disguise as a documentary. I wonder where keeps the women and children he sex traffics to his island and other destinations? 0/5
I think all the links currently here point to the same grab, which is approximately 30 minutes longer than normal because it does many approx 30 second loopbacks repeating itself. To get about 30 minutes of extra time on 30 second loopback/repeats you need bout 60 of them. The first 10
- :32 2. 1:45 3. 3:02 4. 4:25 5. 5:46 6. 13:01 7. 14:21 8. 15:36 9. 16:46 10. 18:04.
Then I stopped. It makes it so annoying it’s unwatchable, for me.
I had to stop yesterday. Was hoping it would be fixed by now. Tks for the update.
This was very funny and brilliant. Totally recommend it if you haven’t seen it and you like adult themed animated movies. It doesn’t matter if you are ST fan or not, you will find it totally relatable. Just binged the entire series and it was worth it :-).
This is the first film I saw Florence Pugh in, I remember being completely blown away by her. And she was so young here too, only 19 or 20, but carried herself with such weight. It’s a great film with some riveting performances.

Cristin Milioti from The Penguin has been added to the cast of this new drama. No release date yet. Ryan Eggold has also been added to the cast. Still no release date.
Another new British crime drama that sounds good. No release date, it’s still in the early days of production.
Another actor has been added to the cast. Tom Burke from Strike will be in this new drama with Michelle Yeoh. From what I have read, Strike ended with season 6. Guess this is why Burke took on the new role in Blade Runner 2099. Still haven’t found a release date.
One thing that was sad, you know trapped in a car no gas in freezing weather just a single candle (with doors closed no busted windows hopefully) it is enough heat to keep you alive?
Also the car was almost berried and if they all would of just snuggled together the snow actually acts as insulation when buried in it and traps heat, so being separate was really the only thing that did it. Serious if your ever freezing everyone snuggle up tight and wrap whatever around you. saved my arse before.
That was intense. Loved it, and right after all the crying of nothings going nowhere. Have some patience people. and whenever your judging a story remember these are supposed to be taken in as they are happening and your along for the ride, so just try to think where you would stand in these situations or if you would of even gotten as far at all…
intimate biopic of stuart rhodes’ family and the various traumas they have and will continue to endure

Can verify. 100%, on all counts. Drinking and driving was thought of more as a hobby than a felony. There were “hole in the wall” clubs, speakeasy’s if you will, that would serve you if you were cool enough to hang with the big dogs. That said, cash is cash, and they’d take your money just like everyone elses. it all spends the same.
100 my friend you were right about hanging with the big dogs. As long as you could handle your booze and didn’t act stupid, the owners had no problem with it. I also never heard of anyone being charged for serving under age people until I was in my 30’s which would bring it to the early 2000’s
In the mid 80’s it was very common to be served alcohol at the age of 14 or 15. I know for sure I was going to bars at the age of 15. When I was 14 after high school we would go to this Chinese restaurant and be served alcohol on a regular basis. It had nothing to do with fame or status in my community. If you had money you were served. It was a different day and age back then. Drunk driving was very social exceptable.

This show cancelled F. Murray Abraham because they are a bunch of idiot liberals. He was dismissed from the Apple TV+ sitcom Mythic Quest (2020), after being accused of improper behavior while on the movie scenery. In a response statement, Abraham apologized and stated that he never intended “to offend anyone, I told jokes, nothing more, that upset some of my colleagues and as a result lost a great job with wonderful people”. They purged his name from the cast wherever they could.
I hope this comes to fruition. I love Mel and the Lethal Weapon franchise
I have only one complaint about this phenomenal series - it is slightly annoying how naive and trusting they wrote Marshall, especially when it comes to characters who obviously (to the audience) have evil designs on him. I mean, after a main character gets screwed over a few times by the same people, it’s pretty galling to watch them make the same mistakes in trusting the same villains over and over.

As a lifelong Stephen King reader, I enjoyed this movie. It definitely has his sense of humor.
They seemed to have omitted that the reason he and his wife ended up in therapy (from which she secretly recorded his confessions) was because she caught him molesting his own daughter.
Are you wiggy? The last 30 seconds alone made me almost lose bladder control!
‘What do you want to do now? Bust into some silos & steal some corn?’ June Squibb is a gem. Such a great movie & cast. I hadn’t kept up w/Alexander Payne’s movies. The last one I saw was ‘The Descendants’ w/George Clooney which was a great film. Payne has such a way w/representing ‘everyday’ people. I thought this was quite funny despite being played totally serious. Payne has a way of capturing the absurdity in life in his characters. This is a slice of Americana and Payne’s vision captured by cinematographer Phedon Papamichael is gorgeous in black & white.
Of course, this is a slowly paced film as are all Payne’s films. It is character driven rather than plot driven. So if you want an action flick, this is not the movie for you. Still quite worthy viewing for the performances alone from the stellar cast.

I lived through this time period, I’m that old. I especially remember post desert storm reintegration (family and friends) There was no connect to post vietnam at this time because they were still in denial of vietnam. We were not allowed to even discuss it in school. There was this giant propaganda that We were/did win desert storm because you know, America never loses. I think they are making the connection on the show NOW for sure. Two major fiscal and strategic loses.I get it, I get what they’re trying to do but its overly nostalgic in their aesthetic is more of what I’m getting at. On will Trent they are dressed and styled nostalgically but it doesn’t throw off the storyline since it’s in the present. On this show its a throwback show that’s styled even further back but not just the clothing.
The clothing often looks 15 years old for the time period. Everything Mike wears looks like its polyester and from a 70s Sears catalogue. The people they interview and interact with out in public are missing out on the bright colors and patterns we had back then. They are also dressed often out of date in scenes.
Yes in the 90s people were driving 10-15 year old cars but half the cars they have pictured are classic cars. You didn’t drive a completely restored 69’ Baracuda to work, you drove an old Dart. *my neighbor loved them and had three green 69 darts in the driveway by 98 we were in autoshop together working on them, You couldn’t just order parts online and run over to autozone like today. So you could get classic cars easily. so yes and no. People drove older cars, but they weren’t driving restored classics as their daily cars. watch the vehicles. my father wasn’t going to be getting groceries in his Trans am or Spider - they were for shows
my point is all of their old stuff looks brand new and its confusing during the show because then I can’t tell if it’s a flashback for Mioke and GIbbs or the 90s. SO when I say outdated I mean intentionally.
