The Bride (2026)
Piglet 1 points 8 months ago*.

Very welcome and no, not related at all, at least I don’t think so. From what I’ve read Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride goes down a totally different road. She wanted something more….maybe disturbing?

magically_delicious -2 points 8 months ago.

Thanks again. WTF with these down voting ejits when we make innocuous comments? Good lord, the world of the internet is flowing with negativity and that’s all. 99% negative comments get seen. Thanks again, Piglet. Take good care.

I don’t get the concept maybe I’m dumb. Or missed something possibly both? I didn’t understand the rental store and the movies and how they connect to the characters. I was expecting some reveal at the end to have it explained but thier wasn’t any. Like I said maybe I missed something. Was kind of amusing at parts but like I said just didn’t really make sense overall.

SheWatches 1 points 8 months ago. (Contains Spoilers)

The way I see it, the movies in the store are his stories of the murders he has done. So, at the end you get a glimpse of a new movie that was created from the murders that happened. The crazy guy that wanted to be in a movie, he wanted to watch it because he’s in it and she was like no, that’s the end of it and threw it away. Freaky, how at the end where her dad was usually the one killed and respawns by digging his way out of the ground, it was her girlfriend this time instead. Loved it. LOL

They Cast Morris’ character perfect. The actor does a great job playing a complete waste of skin Morris turns out to be, I swear there is 1 positive interaction with Morris and any other character in the series..!

More Than Miyagi: The Pat Morita Story (2021)
TX2Guns 3 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Unbalanced is the only word that comes to mind for this Doc. The Director kept interviewing the cast of the Karate kid throughout the ENTIRE doc as if that was the only film Morita ever did. Granted, the Film made him a star but it was not the epitome of his work as an actor. In the same way Morita’s struggle with addiction did not define him as a human being, but yet, the Director spent the last forty minutes of the film talking about Pat’s struggles in the most depressing manner possible instead of memorializing him as a great actor and human being as he deserved. A very one dimensional documentary.

Wulfgar 1 points 8 months ago.

Super accurate , also well said! its a shame he didn’t plan out the documentary better, especially the end. Kind of leave us on a sad note

Charlie's Angels (2011)
Arcangel2020 1 points 8 months ago.

This reboot/remake of the classic 70ies era series of the same name was SO bad, it only made it to 8 episodes. You’re better off watching both of the Big Screen ‘00 movies with Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz in them.

Kardat 5 points 8 months ago.

I hate to say it, but I’m kinda glad they dumped plans for this. I love the first two, but do we really need a 2nd reboot? Based on majority of recent projects, they’d ruin it anyways. Let’s leave this franchise alone for a couple more decades…maybe pick something else that still needs a first reboot. Or god forbid, something original that is very well developed and could be the best tv in years and have some knucklehead exec cancel it by end of the first season.

J.K Simmons was pretty good, for his small role. Other than that, this was predictable and the acting flat. It should have been on Lifetime.

I gotta disagree. This looks pretty underwhelming. Couldn’t be worse than Tales of the Empire but on the other hand never underestimate Kathy Kennedy’s ability to bring SW to new lows.

Watson (2025)
Piglet 1 points 8 months ago.

As I’ve watched this drama, I kept thinking that Adam and Stephens are played by the same person. Clues were they never stood side by side, always on the other side of the desk or room. Both characters are played by Peter Mark Kendall. It takes some good acting to pull off playing both twins.

greenguy86 2 points 8 months ago.

Yeah double the work. Hopefully he’s getting paid extra. It’s done tastefully. You don’t for a second believe it’s the same person.

Watson (2025)
Piglet 1 points 10 months ago.

It wasn’t bad but I think the 4 doctors are way to young looking to be taken seriously as doctors. All but one look like they’re 23 year old grad students.

greenguy86 1 points 8 months ago.

They look young but all the actors are in their 30s so it works fine.

This was excellent. Nothing like stumbling on a Stephen King that I didn’t know about. It gets more Kingish in each season. I didn’t realize it was even King in the first season until I read someone’s note but the second season became clear. All three were great in their own ways. Two had Jack Houston and three had Bruce Dern. All the actors were fantastic (except for maybe the last season) and I loved the Holly character. Loved all of them really. Good music too. I still have the last episode to watch so can’t say how I feel about the end yet.

Episodes are missing in season two and none are here in season three. I had to go to other sites and 3 was hard to find. If anyone is looking, pm me and I’ll tell you where to find it.

The human made climate change narrative essentially pits man against nature and has served as a justification for the depop agenda. The overpopulation myth I hear is very popular amongst British elits. I met a Brit that believed in the Overpopulation myth BUT denounced mass genocide to aid it. The poor thing was extremely naive and believed the narrative that Corona was natural AND she was a virologist…that didn’t age well did it…like I said: extremely naive. I am sure there are enough psychos that wouldn’t have the slightest problem, to “help the planet”. The Corona thing proved it. This movie reminded me of her: Human made climate change is real and humanity is the enemy of nature BUT please no genocide…wink! wink!

NCIS: Origins (2024)
Piglet 1 points 8 months ago.

A couple of episodes, Richard Kowalski (played by Michael Harney) left NCIS. So, it appears he has been written out and he is in the new series The Better Sister. Just wonder how much screen time he’ll have in this new series. We didn’t see him that often in NCIS: Origins.

Val did a mocking and hilarious character impression of Marlon Brando in this film, very cheeky…

“I don’t like Val Kilmer, I don’t like his work ethic, and I don’t want to be associated with him ever again,” said the film’s director John Frankenheimer.

“I didn’t say Val was difficult to work with, I said he was psychotic,” Joel Schumacher joked in 2020. “But he was a fabulous Batman.”

I just feel like Jays Dad has something against this relationship too. He’s being really passive aggressive imo. I might be crazy, idk. But he acts so odd at times. He hardly knows Pamela and her him. And she’s lived there how long now? I like Jay and Pamela, but both sets of parents? I feel sorry for them both.
