I too feel like the shooter is the idiot the punched Dana. If I remember correctly he said he was in the military and he would’ve been trained to use all those weapons. Any coward that would punch a woman like that, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he went on a shooting spree.

I knew it wasn’t going to be the kid but I was wondering if the shooter would end up being the angry guy who punched the charge nurse. Obviously there was going to be consequences for disabling the ankle monitor & they would need to take her no matter what as a new monitor would need to be placed. Timely storyline with the measles… I live near a reported outbreak zone so it caught my attention.
They pack a lot into this show & I do enjoy most of it. I tried watching Pulse and couldn’t make it thru Ep 1, this is just so much better.

Wow…very impressed with this alternative telling and modern take of the old classic Shakespearean tragedy. This is not a retelling of the Folio itself. It deviates a bit, if not completely, from the original Shakespearean dogma with it’s use of modern political and utopian theorems. Yet still follows its premise. Forget what you read with the Shakespearean Folio version. This is not a classic Shakespeare Adaptation. It’s a MashUp. An entertaining mash up of Shakespearean dialog blended with modern dialog. A mash up of interpretive creativity based on modern politics, modern social etiquette, and modern modes of lifestyle and living. I recommend it.

Kate Winslet was in an amazing streak at this particular period- Heavenly Creatures, Holy Smoke, Hideous Kinky, Quills, Jude (not counting Titanic because that is the worst of her early roles and the worst film in my opinion) …and all of those are wonderful films. I idolized her back then!

I mean the trailer does leave a lasting impression… It feels like the tone of the original movies. Not sure if the humor will resonate with anyone younger than a Gen-Xer. Just the fact that they found a dramatic actor with the same initials as the original lead feels like a particular choice too. The last bit of the trailer got a laugh from me. Won’t see it in the theaters but I don’t go to the movies for much of anything now

You can also find semblences of answers that are strung through all episodes, none definitive, instead you’re invited to explore all the grey areas. The ending is such an emotional gut punch I don’t know how you can say it’s a let down. If you pay attention, you get everything you need from this show.

I see the description and not a lot of details about this movie. Here’s what I found……Ryland Grace, (Gosling) is a middle-school teacher who was selected be the biology expert on a longshot mission to a solar system 12 light years away. A catastrophic event is set to wipe out Earth. Guess who is picked to save humanity? Ryland is as an unwitting participant when he’s told he’ll be going on the cosmic journey and also is a reluctant spaceman who meets an alien in similar dire straits. The being, named Rocky, is “the most lovable alien since E.T.” Okay, an alien being who is nothing like the bad ass in the movie Alien. We shall see! Might be released next year.

A reboot is in the works for this crime drama. I didn’t watch this series because I just couldn’t stand Nathaniel Parker. Leo Suter and Sofia Barclay will take over the rolls along with Daniel Mays. No official release date has yet to be announced but four episodes are due to be released.
