I’m not sure what they were thinking ending a film like that. Unless there is going to be a sequal, that is just bad. It totally ruined what was otherwise an okay film.

We need to get Andy Muschietti to direct an A Nightmare On Elm Street movie just due to how well the Nightmare scenes were done in this episode.

Fantastic 1st series, watch and then rewatch it.
Don’t watch series 2 3 or 4, they will spoil your experience.
What happened ? Who knows but it wasn’t for the best.
Stick to series 1 and you will believe Westworld is one of the best tv shows around.

The Sopranos, Hill Street Blues, Six Feet Under, The West Wing…and Breaking Bad. The best TV series, the tv industry has produced in the last 30-40 yrs. And a testament to the greatness of these shows, are other series that were born from the greatness of these series.

Prequel was cool, hehe, but couldn’t capture the intense creeping horror feel of the original, seein it for the 1st time. The actors, (Russel was the dude) acting, camera scenes n’ stillshots and the creepy suspenseful 80’s background horror synthesizer music and effects, (a lost art that will go to the grave with Carpenter) gelled and made it one of the best classic sci-fi, horror flicks of all time in my book. For instance: The scene, lights are out, creepy music lightly building, Fuches is fumbling with a Zippo in the doorway and a shadow whisks by him with instant scary sound effect… at that moment, in the theater, I don’t care how rugged you were, that scene loosened yer pee hole a lil’ bit.

The next best thing (heh) is the 2011 remake.
As the original was and is still so good, a remake can only come second, but IMO they did a pretty good job with it. Def worth a watch considering your wish - I thought the same and it did a good enough job for me.
