Saw this title in the latest comments section, investigated & the cast is incredible w/Smollett, Edgerton & Kinnear. Watched the 1st epi & enjoyed it. Loved that the theme song is by Thom Yorke of Radiohead fame. That immediately hooked me.
Although the initial subject matter of fire investigation didn’t grab me from the description, I’m glad I gave it a shot. But w/this cast I had a feeling it was going to be decent since that trio are knockout actors. Rest of the cast are great too. My only complaint would be the color palate the show is filmed in which is all quite dark w/light sources in amber which makes sense but it is just a tad too dark imo. That is easily remedied w/an adjustment of my laptop screen though, so just a minor quibble.

I get that they were harkening back to how big a role the shoes played in the original series (I’ve seen articles talking about the shoe cinematography of SATC) but seriously, who the hell wears heels 24/7 in their home? Especially in such a filthy city.
Miranda is a terrible house guest. Who walks around naked as a guest in someone else’s home (unless you’re specifically there for naked activities). And helping yourself to the last of anything in someone else’s fridge. yeesh. Awful, awful guest behavior.
Shoe (the cat) on Carrie’s head and a text from “Samantha” almost upstaged the episode but….
the pool scene with Charlotte & LTW was actually really touching & relatable. That quiet moment of solidarity without knowing exactly why your friend needs the comfort was really beautiful & sad
Could you hate Miranda the thirst trap anymore? Poor Carrie, at first I thought she saw ET but then realize it was Miranda walking to her room naked after getting high from sniffing the litter in Shoe’s kitty box!
The actor playing Harry is obviously taking “the shot”. The pool scene was touching - the most memorable this season. Sadly, I feel Charlotte’s going to end this season a widow.
Seema’s definitely gonna do the gardener. I think she’s also going to find the author a new apt (isn’t Carrie’s old apartment available?) so she can set up shop in his apt. Fuck Miranda! Let her find her own place! Serves her right for being such an evil bitch by selling her brown stone to spite Steve. She should have kept it and let Steve and Brady live there. She’d at least always have a place to go.
Loved the scene in the beginning of Shoe following behind Carrie. Still leaving the door open for a Samantha return? Maybe a guest for Harry’s funeral?

Wow, that was a KICKASS end to this part of the season. Talk about a cliffhanger. Anyone see the teaser after the 1st batch of credits? I would’ve missed it if I had turned it off.
I watched the first 6 episodes back when the 2nd season came out but waited to watch this till the next batch is released. Glad I did.

I’m very sure that it won’t be just cancer we will have to worry about in the future. It is probably the cause of our climate problems, The Earth’s crust is probably going to be effected, more Earth Quakes etc. We will never know the full extent because the Government is covering it up. After all why are we just hearing about all this now. Yes it is public knowledge but Hollywood has never done an Expose ever on the “fallout” of these tests

That was a great movie on two levels. First it’s just an enjoyable and interesting movie and secondly it is a satirical take on Cage’s actual life in a way. The action scenes were kind of meh but that is the joke they made in the movie. Which is a funny third wall break now that I think of it. I put this movie off for too long and before I knew it, the movie was almost over. Give it a watch. 8/10

This show started in 2006 so the 2nd season may have been rocked by the economic crash and the multiple entertainment industry strikes in 07-09 era. Too lazy to google the fine details but a lot of shows were disrupted or dropped because of that ripple.

Maybe you already know this but I just learned it lol. If you look below the free links area you will see tabs for google, youtube, and a blue one that says vidsrc. Try vidsrc. I have found shows with no free links and vidsrc still works and I haven’t had any ads pop up! Give it a try. let me know!
