i don’t share, nor understand your opinion. i can see your point in some episodes, but yes, after this one and your usage of the word “woke” you should go and rewatch the old star trek series. or at least try the last few minutes of this episode again. there you have all of your mentioned missing points and why it is so valid and important to internalize the shown lesson and realization for today’s world.
we as humankind, and you too, need more empathy for all living beings.

I LOVE THIS SHIT! Another one for the heart, I never for the last 15ys haven´t been so exited over a 2nd movie. The first movie has become an instant classic to me, like the 5th Element- good cinema.
After all the schlob & Dei lectures this is a solid movie with all that´s good.
Maybe we get a third story? I effing hope so. This movie has earned its place, it´s here to stay.

I sort of miss those days when you only had 3 channels, not counting PBS because it had nothing good on it at that time, and you could watch one show in the season and another show on another channel in reruns in the summer…all without having to pay for it.

Was fine until the last 20 mins starting with the car chase.
At that moment it went from a bit silly to so ridiculous I stopped watching.

We didn’t have anything but rabbit ears on our tv, and it was so old, we had to go hit it on the side sometimes to keep it going.

I don’t know. This last episode was baffling. The physical transformation? what the heck? So was he actually married to that woman, and was the teen boy his? All those photos in the box looked like many yrs worth? That surveillance tape, the guy is a criminal, what is he gonna do with that flash drive? Blackmail? I love Lehane’s writing, but this show was a bit weird and this ending? I mean why would she even get in a car with him when she knew what he was capable of, and like you said, survive that crash?

so the strangest thing happened. I randomly decided to watch this, 11 year-old, TV show and in-between Ep 1 & Ep2 I grab a magazine to flip thru & the first page is an advert for this show…

One could seriously hurt the nose or chip a tooth while cuddling, how is this even allowed?

A terrific show! I really liked the fact that it was not only filmed here in South Florida (like Dexter) but a lot of the location settings were authentic as well (Nothing drives me more up the wall than when a movie or tv show pretends to be set in a location/location I’ve lived in/worked and it is obviously totally fake OR wrong). Great storylines and an terrific cast as well.

In defense of PBS, they had the Doctor Who marathons. Mostly the Tom Baker seasons too.

What I love about this show is that the contestants are from all kinds of cultures and backgrounds. Sad that it’ll probably be canceled because PBS lost their funding.
