Lame sci-fi show
This went off the cliff really fast. Now i’m hoping it gets cancelled…
Way better than DS9, but that said DS9 was still fantastic. Where DS9 focuses more on interplanetary and interspecies politics as well as a war for what is most notably the most strategically powerful space station in the alpha quadrant, this show is more along the lines of a deep space crew stranded in unchartered deep space and having to deal with all the challenges that come their way through nothing more than ingenuity and improvisation. Bravo, can’t wait for season 3.
Good episode, really well done. Bit on the sad side, but they did a great job with it.
I get that the Crown Prosecution Service has its quirks and can sometimes come to very odd charging decisions, but I somehow doubt that even they would try to charge someone with murder for locking someone in a room with a paranoid old man who then kills them, even if they did fail to let them out when they heard sounds of violence from within. Even voluntary manslaughter would be a bit iffy, at best it would be involuntary manslaughter in most jurisdictions.
I’d say his crazy ass mom and gangster ass pops n uncle. question answered. (loved gandolfini son was in this💔)
To0 Agr💢ov day Need some my classics chill ℞elaxax2-b-blunt bout it 🏙⃠ 🌆⃠ …..

Gosh I was just playfully poking fun at your excitement, as I share your enthusiasm. If you had all this class as you say, you might not assume the worst of peoples intentions. I hope you enjoy the show. :(
Fantastic episode. I had done some digging around on reddit because I was curious if Janeway ever gets “involved” with anyone throughout the show. The answer was soft no, the actress, Kate Mulgrew had stated she would only take the role so long as they focused on her as a federation female Captain and not some cringey strung out romance. However, it was also mentioned that there were a few times where the writers had hinted that had she DID have a romantic interest, it’s made very clear who that would be and I wasn’t sure till this episode. What was mind blowing to me was how quickly she went from who she was when she was stranded with Chukotay, to who she is when is on Voyager, just another example of superb acting.
Loved it. There were a few LOL moments but mostly he kept a smile or a smirk on my face and I’m good with that.
That march of death Janeway gave Tuvix was chilling man. Her acting continues to blow me away. An she’s hot.
Been kind of waiting for this, looks like it might be good, but have been let down by stuff like this before, looked good but not so much when I tried watching it. Hoping for the best, will be here soon enough.

Oh waaaa! So I’m classless, boorish, insensitive and beneath the requirements of even a modest upbringing.
OK now me granddaughter (8) wants her name tae be changed tae Astrid!
In view of the passing of Malcolm Warner, I think it might be good to add a lot of links here.
My opinion. This show was excellent when it came out. Before DVR or Tevo or any of that. So you actually had to be at your TV when the show aired. And I was. If you make it to the end, and I strongly suggest that you do, you will find the series was tied with a bow. A perfect ending. To a seven year season. Doesn’t happen very often. Enjoy!
I am coming up on season 3 and can’t put the show down. Every episode is expertly written, and the cast on this shows has unbelievable talent. Completely hooked. My biggest anticipation is the pilot for season 4 with the introduction of Seven of Nine.
Courtney is a wonderful person for saying she’d stay in Mexico to help Colt out after the show. I think they’d make a really good couple and be each others comer through thick and thin and I hope it works out for them!
Are you sure you have said all you need to say about this?? :)
The people in most of these are so annoying. I haven’t been able to watch one without it being on mute and skipping through. It would be better to just get a few facts from first responders or a narrator and just show the footage.
Not sure why the women are even on this show. They don’t contribute and just whine or injury themselves and go home. I’m glad to see Waz not getting any food. Also glad to see Florida man contributing getting that meat for the Vegan who of course abandons her beliefs the second she is desperate and eats the meat. You’d think Steven would gut that considering he shot, tracked, and walked it home.
The over dramatization with the lions and the crocs and stuff is such bad filler. Along with the flashbacks of the previous episode or their time on the show previously.
WHY the subtitles when the scouser talks. No one needs that it’s normal English. They even put subtitles on Joe at a point. Very obnoxious
After watching the animated version, I really enjoyed this one just as well! Including they kept as close to the original as possible! Sorry folk. Me amd my Grandkids reallllly enjoyed it to tje max! (Now off to Popeyes as I promised em!)
Isaac Asimov’s “I, Robot” and “Foundation” series are connected through his broader “Robot” and “Foundation” universes. While the “I, Robot” short stories were initially separate from the “Foundation” series, Asimov later integrated them, making R. Daneel Olivaw, a robot from the “Robot” stories, a character in the “Foundation” universe centuries later. This connection is solidified through the “Robots and Empire” novel, which bridges the gap between the two series by describing the settling of worlds that would later form the Galactic Empire in “Foundation”.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
Initial Separation:
The original "Foundation" trilogy (Foundation, Foundation and Empire, Second Foundation) was written as a standalone series, separate from the "Robot" stories. Integration:
Asimov later decided to link the series, particularly when writing the later “Foundation” books like “Foundation’s Edge” and “Foundation and Earth”.
R. Daneel Olivaw:
The robot R. Daneel Olivaw, introduced in the “Robot” series, appears in the later “Foundation” novels, appearing as a character twenty thousand years later in the Galactic Empire’s history.
“Robots and Empire”:
This novel serves as a crucial bridge, detailing how the worlds that would become the Galactic Empire were settled and how Earth became radioactive, which was a detail first mentioned in the “Foundation” universe.
Unified Universe:
By integrating the “Robot” and “Foundation” series, Asimov created a vast, unified “future history” encompassing his works.
Reading Order:
While the original “Foundation” trilogy can be read without prior knowledge of the “Robot” series, the later “Foundation” books, particularly the sequels and prequels, benefit from familiarity with the “Robot” stories, especially “Robots and Empire”.
Are you sure you have said all you need to say about this?? :)
oh, ok - still think the acting was very halting and forced, like the actors had no confidence in several cases, everything was a bit out of proportion, it was as out of place as a bicycle in a motorcycle dealership - too cringe and my kids who saw the original, the follow-ups and the series agree with it, like I said earlier, the crew who did the Flintstones live action movie did a more convincing job of taking cartoon concept to irl while keeping the cartoonishness spirit of it, but hey if this is what floats the boat of lowering standards these days, then great, let the low effort masses enjoy what they will - ha ha
Yeah, Piglet, I too feel unsure about watching this movie. The situation in the U.S. has become obscene and as the movie’s director has said, it’s even worse now than when the movie was shot in 2024. The idea of sitting through two and a half hours of horror - based on a true story so to speak - and all the while knowing well that things are actually worse now?
‘Something about striking a balance between well informed critical thinking and taking decent enough care of one’s soul huh? Then again, like an accident on the highway, ‘maybe difficult not to give it at least a glance? Cheers Piglet. :-)
I so agree with you. I work at a university and one of the grad students from Germany decided to not come to the US. The political climate is the reason.
Van Helsing married Minna Harker??
and hes a fudging lunatic?
thats not the van Helsing I know lol
painfully slow burn…
I watched this thinking it was a limited series,
thought the series was ok, but ending sucked,
came here to review to see it might not be ended….
ill watch if second season shows
Now that I’ve watched the trailer, not sure if I want to watch this movie. Thanks for the trailer link.
Then you don’t agree with me: I was talking about Eragon, not this movie.

This looks really promising. Keeping my fingers crossed and hope they don’t eff it up with woke BS down the line or have it cancelled…
So far so good, enjoying most of the cast and the story so far, all be it not much of one yet I know, looking forward to seeing the arcs that come about in this series. I really enjoyed DS9 so fingers crossed this holds a candle.
