Agreed! I don’t mind what happened due to the memory retention, like 2 beings in one. However the fact that it’s no longer getting more seasons makes it a let down. Still, overall I will miss it, such a unique and entertaining show. RIP

Yikes, the TDS is getting thick. Worst episode of SP to date, but to be fair, It’s been going downhill ever since the Tegridy farm bs was introduced. It’s hilarious listening to new fans gasp and clutch their pearls like this ep was controversial. Go back and watch seasons 1-10, your head will explode.
They should really study TDSDS.
The “right” complains that people “can’t be funny anymore.” Musk famously said, “Make comedy legal again,” yet any time someone pokes fun of the Great Pumpkin everyone involved in the joke, whether creating it or simply laughing at it, has a mental issue.

WOW! I really liked this! I was always a fan of alternative universe stuff as a kid so this gets that extra bit of favor from me just for that. The retro stuff look and feel worked well imo. The storytelling was good and the pacing and continuity suffered a bit but not too badly. At first I did not understand why Galactus looked so …… fake, but I figured out that he was the cgi version of the 60’s comic and not the modern version retroed into a 60’s version. Acting was great with several sub-plots referenced as a possible setup…for future movies set in different universes?
TLDR
Good copy. Great attempt at making an “alternate universe” comic book movie and making it “retro” at the same time.

I really wanted to love it, but everything felt a bit forced—the cast, the story, and the concept. I’m pretty sure they’re trying to create a path for future movies, but they should have just focused on this one.

However…. I ‘do’ take offense at the Commander in Queef being portrayed as Canadian. They should of had a scene where he puts on his Klan hood to ‘entice’ Satan.

For added context this is the fourth streaming deal in five years, and Park County (Trey and Matt’s private company) gets 50% of all streaming based on a sweetheart deal with Comedy Central’s parent Paramount in the days before Netflix established streaming. With this deal they’ve made at least 1.3 billion personally before taxes in 5 years on streaming rights alone. Absolutely insane.

I’m glad I waited until today to watch this. It has had so much more meaning to me. Ozzy’s voice is completely on point. It is really difficult to belt songs out sitting down.
