Glad to hear you enjoyed it and was able to finally watch it. :)
great news. I’m happy for you

There will be a season 2 sometime in 2026. Filming started on this past May but no exact release date yet.
I agree with you, I was shocked about the ending as well, great watch.
It almost always happens in crime shows here in the US. If a guest star is on the show and well know, that person turns out to be the villain. But I thought surely it wasn’t this person but sadly I was wrong.
Leslie Neilsen in an interview said that he had always wanted to do comedy, but no one would give him the chance. He finally got that chance with his first big ‘comedy’, Airplane!. Seeing him in previous works, all dramatic endeavors, it was shocking to see him do a comedic role…the same with Barbara Billingsly. As for this series, he said he had a great deal of fun making these. The worst thing about this series? It was far too short. The opening scene of each episode was taken from the old late 50s TV series called M Squad with Lee Marvin. My best friend loved this series and he had all the gags and jokes down pat, so this brings back really good memories.
Hilarious epi. Loving Chrisitine Baranski & her character’s wry wit delivered w/her sharp tongue. The writing in this is superb!
How much longer must we wait for season 4? I’m anxious to see if Miley’s ex can measure up to Henry Cavill’s Witcher, although I doubt it. I hate having to wait so long. I understood it with COVID, but now it’s just stupid.
Apparently it’s in post-production w/Hemsworth taking over & should be out this year the internet says.
It looks many times like we are going for a dark age comeback, But sure.. Still what does your answer really mean? Many religious cultures are mono cultures and name their own damned extremes as “the” norm from which they then attack “extremes” with sanctioned violence in form of, “at least” child theft and mental rehabilitation if not stoning. In some sense if I want to be free from religion and be exploring life with as open eyes as I can out of my biology, cultural memory, mysticism etc, doesn’t I also need to accept even “at least the existence of” extreme religion even if it means that I might have to meet their violence against me as a freethinker with personal or organized “freethinker” violence in situation emergent self defense to avoid defining reality in just an other static norm that don’t really exist in life. I guess our society when it is sane and have some kind of socialistic ground should be that.. but that also become class violence or as we now can see the same institutions rapidly can be taken over and turned around against me.. So is it not more honest to acknowledge/accept the existence of them (the extremists) and their madness and their violence and just engage with it in an direct organized form stemming out from the people that understand the same libertarian world? Like in a militia rather than in the form of institutions and because of it a defined norm. Accept that there is no center in universe but just power. Power of arms, power of words, power of logic power of suprice, and of feeling, experience, love and hate. family, tribe and clan. Sorry if I sound extreme to you. But when you say that you don’t have no acceptance for religious fanaticism it sound a bit self centered(do you actually have personal power to enfoce it?) or that you haven’t thought it trough or do you believe preventive religious suppression? (which I find a bit extreme and believe just make the religious people even more extreme.) This is quite central question in a multicultural society, and one that have not yet seen a solution. I really believe that we that have that kind of free worldview(I have no Idea if this is you ) need to gang up and organize both economically and get arms to defend our space. The whole state “thing” is to volatile and people are just getting dumber and more emotionally simple and craven. Feel free to not give me an answer, I won’t hold it against you.
Thanks, that’s generous of you. I only meant I don’t accept it for myself.
I have no interest in organized religion but I do believe in tolerance.
That’s all I have to say about that.
Lorraine is still on the Equalizer. Both are filmed in NYC so the schedule works since she is supporting roles in both.
This isn’t the Dark Ages, ffs.

Sorry, haven’t watched this, but, Epstein’s getting a lot of attention on The Jimmy Dore Show, Glenn Greenwald, Max and Aaron at The Grayzone, Katie Halper and Tucker Carlson (and their guests).
For a guy with no college degree… probably laundered a bunch of money to get that rich, and, that’s IF he wasn’t blackmailing people. He may’ve never “worked” for Israel, but we all suspect they had him laundering money, and, that’s in Addition to prolly giving them tapes so they could blackmail the powerful people who Epstein was taping.
The last drama I watched with Jessica Biel was Candy, but I didn’t make it past episode one. This new drama has some good actresses, Lorraine Toussaint and Gloria Reuben. From the description, it looks like only one season. If not, is Lorraine Toussant leaving the Equalizer? I haven’t watched the latest 2 seasons of the Equalizer so not sure what is going on with it.
Lorraine is still on the Equalizer. Both are filmed in NYC so the schedule works since she is supporting roles in both.
Lorraine Toussaint and Gloria Reuben really steal the show. great scenes with them. Matthew Modine’s character was pretty awful to watch (and I love him) They turned him into a creepy old predatory wealthy Queen. (yes a queen not gay) he sucked the life out of every scene he was in. I found myself constantly asking why is this character even around? why are they constantly calling and including him? The guy who plays the son did a good job. Kim Dickens unfortunately played the exact same character she always plays. The caustic disarming awe shucks hardass.
Well, the first episode drug on and on and it is an intriguing but not really intriguing enough for me to continue. You might watch the first two episodes and then decide, you might like it. I might give it another go at a later time.
piglet, it got much better. The pilot episode was crap and did it no justice. More and more secrets come out. Once you see the two sisters start to interact there are funny moments as well. The way they bicker really hit home. There were a few scenes where Nikki does stuff and I screamed OH MY GOD THAT’s MY SISTER!!!
Someone help me out with explaining the ending. I felt like it ended so well until the last 30 seconds. Are they setting up another season? This could have been just fine as a 1 off season show.
knowing how the outcome was manipulated and the final scene really turned me off after such a great story. cut out the last 2 min and it’s gold.
I also need to understand the scene where she hears something outside, goes out with the gun and no one is there. she walks back in and hides the gun. the end. What was the noise? that was never resolved. WTH
Nah, I don’t belive you. You probably just have makeup your carvings, right?
No, just joking with you. But, hey, how do you mean acceptance? In your own life or also in other peoples lives? Religious fanatics are scary also for me but I mean.. madness is a part of the renewal/development function of life.. Should we really tether the wild horse? Some must go there so that some can go half way there and others stay for ever on a safe spot.. or no?
I said I like the genre, but I have no acceptance for religious fanaticism.

Robert Acosta should be charged and tried in J.E. place, since he was the one who made that sweetheart deal for that filthy pedophile!
5 years ago you made that comment. Time to continue this conversation!
You’re welcome and hope you enjoyed if you’ve finished it. I was shocked by the ending and I must admit I should have seen it coming. I have a theory when it comes to crime dramas here in the US. Can’t say my theory applies to British crime shows, they know how to do it right and when you find out who did the deed, you’re shocked.
I agree with you, I was shocked about the ending as well, great watch.
I really really liked this show. All the way to the end. The ending supprised me like crazy, that is why worth the watch.
Wonder why he came and made him leave. Does Q want to be the only one to torment captains of the Enterprise and will he appear in future episodes? If so, I hope the episode is a wee bit better than this one.
maybe this is implying that the Enterprise gets on Q’s radar through this chapter? Perhaps there will be more of him this season. He wasn’t my favorite Star Trek nemesis but it was fun to see the throwback.
Fantastic cast really horrifically funny in THE GOOD WAY . Both me and my wife have seen it and are both agreed to give this awesome production 5 fucking stars…! See it now it´s full of raw comedy and acted by real god damm real actors. Men AND females - See it now, it´s just as good as Tucker & Dale
Just as good as Tucker & Dale, now I’m interested! This has been on my To Watch list for months, here we go! Oh man, what a ride! I loved it! Inlaws…. awesomeness!
Jimbo definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I know exactly what you mean.
What is Ginger going to do with a crown at her age now? She will put it on the mantlepiece and retire!
A young Queen that has shown so much growth over the last two years, should be showing it off…
Gor-JUSS deserved it imo, but I didnt like that she sided with that nasty mistress BULLY…so perhaps that was her Karma for being a Kunning K-nT.
I am there with you Lily. Jimbo to me is just a creepy clown that is the horror stories of Drag that you hear on the whole “drag is evil” campaign. I just never saw what others did when it came to the talent in her. That is why we have reviews and opinions though.
God, you so brave!
Seeing this Shaman carving the rock like looking for a lost baby in an ant hill just to see that he have the same carving on his for head.. Well.. it made me think that I maybe should look for an other religion.. just to be on the safer side. But good for you!
I said I like the genre, but I have no acceptance for religious fanaticism.
The first episode was the length of a movie and it almost lost me, too.
But, I will soldier on to episode 2. I like the genre.
God, you so brave!

Very welcome and I’m surprised I recognized him because it had been a while since I had seen him in anything.
What a great movie, i did not expect the ending. How did i ever miss this movie in 2024, i just found it today; Sun. July 20/25. Really very wonderful movie.

Jimmy is trying to act like the male version of Rachel, right down to the gloves. Should be an interesting week coming up or so you would think.
