What a wonderful hospice. I wish we had one per state that even came close to offering the type of care that this hospice offers. I had worked in Long term care the majority of my adult life and did a lot of hospice work in the nursing homes/rehabs and sadly all we did for the patients was dispense pain medications, take care of basic daily needs and added support if we had time, basically no different then the other 24 patients we had. Hospice companies were assigned to the person but they pretty much did very little from my experience.

I get severe Serial Killer vibes from Jimbo. Something in their eyes and little shifts in attitude during their first competition (Drag Race Canada, right?) My animal brain sends out huge Danger, Danger messages when they were being interviewed. It went away by that final competition but that just made me wearier. Also: sucked at lip-syncing.

I am there with you Lily. Jimbo to me is just a creepy clown that is the horror stories of Drag that you hear on the whole “drag is evil” campaign. I just never saw what others did when it came to the talent in her. That is why we have reviews and opinions though.

Wasn’t a bad series. I think Bana gets better looking as he gets older. This first season is/was a limited series. Netflix has previously renewed shows labeled like this if they prove to be popular. There’s no cancellation either, so the possibility of a second season remains open.

Totally agree about Eric Bana aging like a fine wine - his hair alone is reason to watch this series. Eric and Sam would have to be two of my favourite actors - I was a bit put off by the american accents - but it was ok.

You’re welcome and hope you enjoyed if you’ve finished it. I was shocked by the ending and I must admit I should have seen it coming. I have a theory when it comes to crime dramas here in the US. Can’t say my theory applies to British crime shows, they know how to do it right and when you find out who did the deed, you’re shocked.

Didn’t think I would like this show, but I gave it a try and now I can’t wait to see how Season 2 ends. This show is a wild ride! It starts out sort of boring, but by the end of season 1, you won’t be able to wait for the next episode. Season 2 is insane!

Don’t forget the delusion she had thinking she did better than everyone else & didn’t deserve to be in the bottom. There’s not that fine of a line between confidence & delusion & she was way past it with a heap full of arrogance to boot.
I’m not saying the shows are rigged but….there are definitely times when the winner is obvious from the start. Like everyone here is just as a supporting cast. Example: The season Jimbo finally won… undeserved.

Terrible writing. Every dialogue is just cliché, like watching a run of the mill soap. And they failed to make use of filming in a beautifull park. I quit after 2 episodes. I don´t care ´Who dunnit´ at all.

I’m not a big fan of Rhys Darby, but, this was, tonally, a great update of “The Squire of Gothos.” He really channeled William Campbell’s dandy persona.
I especially appreciated the brief musical segues used in the original series to add drama.
It was like déjà vu, until it became clear I Had seen it before!

A carousel spy movie. It was good but nothing that makes you gasp with surprise at any point. It still flowed nicely and was a good watch. It’s more of a laid back spy thriller emphasising the more calculating side of spy’s rather than your bing, bang, boom of a Mission Impossible type. Soderbergh does make an enjoyable movie but this would be lower on my list by him. 7/10
