This series branched off from theFIRST48, & is it’s own show now. New Orleans is it’s own friggin’ world so this makes sense, if you’ve ever been their you’d know what I mean.
Besides this, the series started off with a bang, just a completely out of control case and when they finally detained dude it was a freaking insane scene, let’s just leave it at that! (Hasn’t let down since then either..!) Can’t wait for new season to start!
Knew it would be back! Nola homicide is just too classic and too wild nowadays to stop.

Completely different from the book but good nonetheless.
Many will say that Keanu ruined this movie, and I will admit that his accent is atrocious but he did better than I ever could.
Keanu aside, great acting all around.
Side note…Keanu has become a good actor since.

I wouldn’t say ruin exactly but this was so soon after Bill & Ted that I kept expecting him to say: “Dude, it’s a vamp-ire”. I believe this came out my junior year in High School & we voted to read the book in our English class because of it lol

It should be a requirement that to be continued movies be marked as such because this is only half a movie, the story just suddenly ends abruptly and now we have to wait who knows how many years for the next part. This really felt like it was meant to be a series and not movies. Definitely not as good as the first one, but still pretty good. Do not watch until the third movie is out, if it even does come out, so you can get the entire story.

One of the greats. Props to Frances Ford Coppola. I don’t know if I would have cast Winona Ryder as Nina, but to each their own. Two of my all time favs in this… Anthony Hopkins and Gary Oldman. This movie has become an annual watch for me. One of the best romance stories of love and heartbreak, set to a dark/horrific backdrop. How can this get anything but 5 stars?

Sit back and buckle up on this fun ride featuring a younger Dr. Grant type character, a Latin family that “must’ve made a WRONG turn!” and a bunch of bandit misfits looking for their next big score. Only thing is, they took a bigger BITE….then they could chew.

Keanu can admittedly be hit-or-miss but even his “misses” eventually become classics. I hated him as Constantine — at first — but now I love that movie and can’t see anyone else doing it as much justice. Maybe Matt Ryan, but that’s it.

Exactamundo! NO matter how Keanu’s performance was Gary Oldman sends shivers down the spine, and then as young Dracula is dripping with suave evil sexiness! Such a badass. Only actor that can pull off Dracula & Sid Vicious and totally make me forget it’s the same dude!

I have put off watching this for years and finally gave in. I wish I had decided to avoid it. I found it completely and utterly boring and so horribly done. Though KR has indeed matured as an actor I will never forget these early years of subpar acting.

What a wonderful film. George Lazenby has a few regrets but he’s a man of his convictions.
He did it his way.

I was five, and this (plus many re-runs of Land of the Giants & Time Tunnel) were the little wooden blocks that built a life-long love of Science Fiction. (Besides a horrifying late night viewing of “X: The Man with the X-ray Eyes”).
Story and production seem dated, like how I felt watching Robert Goulet’s made-for-TV “Brigadoon” after seeing, “the historical document,” that was the movie.

Discounting any woke whatever, the acting is really distracting in this and most of the actors here I’ve seen in other things and they’re fine or even good. Something feels wrong about it, like trying to persuade the audience too hard that we should believe in the competence and bravado of each character and doing the thing where they say instead of show these things.
I’ll still watch it because it’s the only Bosch-universe thing left and I’ve heard that Titus is going to appear in the show but if you’re going in expecting Bosch or even a level below Bosch, set your expectations lower than that. Though I was shocked to see its reviews were as glowing as they are, so maybe you or others won’t see things the way I do. But in seeing some user reviews much has been changed from the novels to no particular purpose and I have to imagine some detriments (Parker doesn’t exist in the books and is basically a stand-in character for Maddie Bosch) which makes it easier to understand why it feels like it’s an imitation to me rather than the real thing.

Back to the Beginning (2025)
This concert was amazing. I do have to say though. It was so hard watching Ozzy on stage. You could see he wanted so badly to get up and move around and he couldn’t. And he was grabbing onto that Mic so hard I think to stop the shaking. But he killed it as always. Him getting so emotional while singing Momma I’m Coming Home … it brought tears to my eyes. This was an end of an era for sure. Without Black Sabbath and Ozzy, there would be no Metal Music as we know it today. There would be no Metallica, no Pantera, no Megadeath, etc. They are the reason we have what we have, and to be able to see them one last time, together, with the original members to me was a blessing. The other performers were great. But the Ozzy Solo, then Sabbath is all I honestly cared about. The rest was just icing on the cake.
