it’s been a minute since I’ve watched this. I know I haven’t seen it since Robin died. It is a fab little movie and all the kids are really good at their characters. It is so different from what Coppola’s movies usually are. I sure miss Robin. RIP Buddy you are still the bomb.

yes I agree The tales from the Crypt is not something I would expect a child of mine to be show in school either let alone back in our day. Nuts!
Batty, right? We had an odd school system. Perfect chance to show kids Dick Van Dyke & Sally Ann Howe singing songs but nooooo…. crazy Crawford with her weirdo drawn on eyebrows battling mean ol Betty… yep…. They showed that instead.
They did, they showed us that bloody movie every chance they got haha. Still hate it. Yet love the other movies. The Tales From The Crypt was pretty dark stuff as well though.

yes The Reluctant Astronaut was another one we would be shown too. For heaven sake they had children watch whatever happened to baby Jane? That’s crazy. It’s a good movie by hardly family viewing in my opinion. I’ll check out these links thanks. Some look familiar while others are new

Don Knots and Tim Conway were the best, weren’t they? I just loved them both growing up
They were. I think The Private Eyes & Apple Dumpling Gang movies were the ones we liked best. The Private Eyes is probably the more rare of the two.
That’s great. Really dig this movie, but only got to see it once as a kid at the drive-in. For us, it was Thanksgiving and xmas that they showed movies. It was always What Ever Happened To Baby Jane & The Ghost And Mr. Chicken for one holiday and then The Reluctant Astronaut & Tales From The Crypt for the other. Sometimes they’d swap in The Incredible Mr. Limpet.

Would’ve really preferred Chitty Chitty Bang Bang over What Ever Happened To Baby Jane!

On the last day of my public (elementary) school they would play a movie instead of teaching us anything. This was one of the movies they would play and we would often be upset if they chose something else for us to watch. It was played on one of those old reel to reel movie projectors. Great memories and great acting by the beloved Dick Van Dyke. He was the cats pajamas back in the day. Walt Disney was his go to guy for sure.

Under NO circumstances do I want to see a remake of this. The original is just fine !
Those in agreement, raise your hand.

Not a bad interpretation of Stevenson’s tale. It wasn’t a super favorite of critics though. That’s okay because it’s fun & their approval isn’t required for that. Downloadable posts are available also.
Hmmm. One of my favorite movies of all time. i would of thought this would of always been here but I never checked.
I had to mute it when the woman spoke because it sounds like she swallowed a bunch of nails. I hope she doesn’t think she sounds cool when she talks like that, she’s very wrong.
The audio track sounds like it was recorded in a large room…like an open cinema for example. The image quality is “good”, but the audio gives away its true source. The quality seal is misleading. This is a CAM. Think I’ll wait for the streaming release date.
Nice movie.. Can’t believe they never played it on our local TV. Wonder why..
FAKE DVD QUALITY! I will watch this whewn it’s a REAL DVD version! totally fake dvd make! with continuous money falling through it! DISTRACTING! good bye!!!!
One of the nicer films looking back on this place & time in music. Only documentaries cover it better.
Love Albert Einstein (Brooks), Super Dave Bob Einstein’s brother from Bizarre. But also love Julie Hagerty from Airplaine with Robert Hayes (Cherie Currie from The Runaways ex-husband).
Nice movie. Feels like a cross between Frantic and the Bourne identity.
Damn… minute I saw that Taco Truck I knew what was coming but still… :(
omg what a beautiful doc, left me in tears. thank you Ladies we got the beat! wtf?
If you know the Mafia story, movie will be boring as s**t. If not, maybe worth seeing it
Jeez that bad? I mean u know movie is no good when after it releases you don’t hear anything about it…so ya. 5.7 rating too? dang. I really thought the Irishman should of ben the last mob thing he does. was really way too old in that but, it got a pass. lol
if you take a shot of liquor every time a gun with a 20-30 round magazine shoots nonstop for 150+ rounds, you won’t make it halfway through this movie.
I hate that in movies especially if you shoot and are familiar with it, it just messes up any kind of edginess of their even being guns in the story. It more reminds me this IS just kids playing pretend and closer to just saying Pew! & running around than any kind of underground crime story lol
🤦♂️ that was….hard to get through. That’s a shame I remembered liking this. It was more than one person acting as multiple people, and this time 5?? That was really bad, not Lyoone’s fault but damn. I’m not giving up though hopefully it will get better…
Who??!
Susan was one of the first ever companions in the show’s history and rather interestingly she was the first ever companion to leave the show as well.
yes Susan ! and The Rani! Rumour had it that both Susan and Rani were coming back… Archie Panjabi even looks a bit like Kate O’Mara… both incredible actresses…
Not a clue who Archie is but yes she does look a lot like Kate O’Mara.
Oh, crap, was hoping it was going to be an addition, but have no interest in anything like that, thanks for the information, appreciate it…
what did the alien say at the end?????????????? someone tell me!!!!!!!!!!
The series has felt different. Much better than the first. I will be sad if Ncuti does in fact leave after this series. I think he is brilliant. I want to see more of him.

As long as Jon Voight isn’t in this new series, I will watch it. All 10 episodes will premiere later this year and Guy Ritchie is at the project’s helm, serving as director and executive producer.
Jon Voight was one of the greatest actors of the 70s Deliverence in all its fucking glory is brilliant isn’t it. Just because his bitch of a daughter doesn’t like him anymore isn’t wise to why he is so beloved.

Whatever Happened to Baby Jane still freaks me out! I love The Incredible Mr Limpet!
