I 100% agree that ‘girls go away for the weekend, come back and sing a popular song badly, boyfriend finds out she cheated during the song’ skit is so lame it was played out 15 seconds into the first time they used it. This is the fourth…and it has only gotten less funny o_O Apart from that I thought this episode was from funny to hilarious. The gen alpha snack podcast had me snorting :D

So D’Eanna becomes pretty awful after she loses her empathic abilities, and although I get that that was intentional in the writing of the script, but she really does have a holier than thou complex and I never ever saw it till now. Whether THAT was intentional or not I am unsure, but it’s hard not to see her in this way after this whole episode.

this show is a combination of star trek, babylon5, farscape and a bit of indiana jones with the ark hunters. this was at the height of syfy glory days. have been doing a bit syfy show rewatching with haven, alphas and eureka. just needed a good sci-fi fix. shame we did not get season 4 or a 2-3 part episode to finish the story.

Recently discovered this show which is a different game every episode & the contestants have to figure out how to play the game as the games progress. Really fun & inventive. If you like unusual games check it out since it’s quite creative. I’m watching the old epis in between waiting for the new epis.

By now you’ve heard plenty of filmmakers say it, “we wanted to make it look like the comic book.” Warren Beatty directing, and staring in, this movie may have been the first to really pull it off. The colors are fantastic, the angles are dynamic, the roster of actors is killer. Beatty clearly called in a career’s worth of favors to get this thing cast. Unfortunately, the comic book all this was based on had to be Dick Tracy. And Dick Tracy’s extensive cast of mobster villains was, for lack of a better word, grotesque. This film got an Oscar for the makeup effects done to achieve the looks of gangsters like Small Face (who has a head that’s about 3 feet wide), Flat Top (who has a head you could serve drinks off of), and Lips (who is Al Pacino with a giant mouth and a ridiculous chin, screaming about 90% of the time). But if you can look past the caricature prosthetics, and maybe you’d like to see Madonna with her real face again, give Dick Tracy about an hour and 40 of your time.

There was a 7th episode meant to be a Halloween special, “The Night of the Werebear,” but, I can’t find it. One free streaming site has it listed, but no sources. IMDb has ten votes but no reviews.
Only 6.8k votes make up the 7/10 on IMDb, so, surprised it got a second season! “Renegade Nell,” had 10k votes for it’s 7.4 rating, and didn’t.
“Famalam,” 6.8/10 from 2018 only has 489 votes (Hahaha), so, even though a show isn’t watched and has ratings that could’ve been ginned up by a Click-Farm in Kazakhstan, doesn’t mean it isn’t well acted or written to my tastes, but….
Would’ve liked to seen the last ep of this silly show!

Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy (2025)
I cannnot laude or shower any higher praise than: astoundingly well done series. It is a subtle and in depth study of Gacey and of the almost banal lead up to what these young victims went through. Not gory or bloody at all but the inferred violence and sheer magnitude of what Gac(e)y exacted upon these poor boys is laid out in small vignettes . The actor who portrays Gacy did an amazing job-he actually is the one who makes the show stand out(Michael Chernus-one to watch)-sneaky, manipulative, jovial and dare I say, so normal and hell, I would’ve believed him so great is his self delusion. If you want a really, really well done mix of drama and facts driven stroytelling , this is for you.

I just don’t understand how this show paints Robbie as some hero/martyr; he’s a terrible person and a loser. Tom is also punching above his weight and continues to put his team in danger. If the FBI didn’t get involved in this at all, the kid would’ve been found and the Dark Hearts would’ve taken care of Robbie. I think Per / Uncle Perry is the most rational character of the series. Everything he did actually made sense and was justified. Any misfortune he had to get himself into was the result of incompetence by those around him.

You also choose who you surround yourself with, & that’s double true when it comes to a MC or any organization.
You know what your signing up for, and if you saw the rest of Unc’s (previous) life in the MC I promise you that wasn’t the first murder, betrayal, or drug deal to go wrong, nor was it the first member killing another member, or another member causing BS he had to deal with etc. (that’s kinda the point of any connection share good & bad)
To judge anyone from the outside is always way easier than knowing what you would really do in any of these situations.
But that’s my point I guess is these things just don’t happen out of nowhere you choose the path your taking with every small decision every day.

You have one of the richest networks producing this show (HBO) and they decide to hire many foreign actors (all 3 in the task force). You can’t even tell Lizzie & Grasso are Irish & British but Aleah…I now know that a South African trying to do an American accent ends up making an Australian accent. It was just hard watching the show and you are trying to pay attention to her serious lines but your ears can’t help but notice certain words and phrases she pronounces and says with an accent. Her acting is good but if she can’t nail the vocals they should have casted an American.

Ok, the magic jellyfish deer have redeemed this season for me.
The Original release of The Exorcist
was December 26th 1973, It was controversial
from the start, unlike any motion picture before
or sense. In essence it was a once in a life time
experience. The original film in all of it’s terrifying
glory has not been shown since 1974. I keep trying
to explain to true movie buffs that the versions they
have been airing in the last 20 to 30 years is not the
Original. I don’t say this to bash a great movie that was
once a masterwork, I point this out so that maybe one
day I will see the true Masterwork once again. I don’t
think we ever will, due to the fact that the only people
who know the truth are the ones that ran screaming
from the theater on December 26th 1973. Another
switch that Friedkin pulled was that, it was not Burke
Dennings Regan(The Demon) threw out her window
but the Astronaut that she looked at before pissing
the carpet and said, You’re gonna die up there! She
didn’t mean in space, she meant up in her room. If
You recall Burke had already left the party. I saw
Regan float over, turn his head around then toss
him out her window. When Billy chopped up his
masterwork Blatty did not speak to him for 2 years.
I don’t know if you still come here to watch movies/tv series here but if you do, I would love to hear more about this “Master Work” and what was cut/re-edited from it. I know of one scene that was cut. It was when “Regan” was first being examined by a doctor and she told him to quote: “Keep your fingers away from my C(harisma) U(niquess) N(erve) and T(alent)!” I heard it was later edited back in for the 25th anniversary video release. Also, that scene you mention that was cut between “Regan” and the astronaut makes more scene than what we saw. He was in the carpet pissing scene and never mentioned again. Empty plot point? Not something Friedken would do! But then again, why would the astronaut be in her room?
