Sunday brunch, 4 couples, and the end of the world. This was like a hysterical, well-crafted play - the situations just escalated perfectly until all hell broke. And that ending was chef’s kiss.

weird, he seemed to like the show, go figure… too bad though

it started off well but the ending was soo bad. for people who loves Brazilian films like Elite Squads, Hector Babenco’s films, and City of God and City of Men you’ll like this, but as a sequel to City of God….like I said It started off well but the ending was pretty crappy so watch at your own risk with that in mind. but apparently a season two is coming out so maybe not all hope is lost.

Just died laughing watching the “Bye Bye Greasy” episode. It really is better than I remember.

The best show ever. Jon Benjamin kills it as McGuirk. Brendan Small, the creator, lead voice actor and music composer, writes, plays and sings hilarious yet still incredible songs in every musical genre for each episode. I love introducing people to this show.

That kind of took me for a loop as well, I’ve been binge watching this so I can hopefully answer some of your confusion even if a little. Going into season 1 they both made it very apparent that they love each other, but D’Eanna makes a statement somewhere towards the end of season 1 that she knows “William loves her within the boundaries of the federation and his ambition to become a Captain himself” Following this, they never solidify through words or even actions that they are in love or in a relationship, infact Riker makes repeated attempts at flirting with many off world species females and science officers throughout. Then, every 10 episodes or so, we get episodes like this, where we see that they do clearly care for each other very much, beyond that of Commander/Crewmate. I am not entirely sure why they never just outright touch on the subject of Riker and D’Eanna, it’s all been cloak and dagger so to speak, I won’t know more till I finish up the series. Hope this helped.

Third episode in a row the Captain is wearing some badass looking jacket, not sure what the angle on this was from the writing perspective but it definitely gives him a different kind of flair. Only 15min into this episode and it’s already getting really really heavy in Picards meeting with Sarek. Looking forward to this duo and seeing Spok on the set of TNG. So far this show has been everything beyond my expectations as far as Star Trek, I plan on watching everything there is in the franchise including (sigh) SNW. Of the three series I have to say, they all do what they do expertly and in my opinion, so far anyway, between this, DS9 and VOY, no one show is better or worse than the other. I’m going onto Picard from here, then Enterprise I think, followed by TOS, and going onward from there.

I found a hat many years ago at a thrift store that was one of the red beanies from this movie that says “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” on the front fold and a stoplight on the back fold. I was at the bank the other day wearing it and the lady asked me, “Do you like aquariums?” to which I said “Ummm.. yeah? I mean I’ve gone to a few and they’re pretty awesome… Why do you ask?” and she points to my hat. I laughed and told her it’s a movie and I blanked on like all the details cause it’s been over a decade since I’ve seen it. Still, she wrote it down and looked excited to watch it.

Now I’m here to refresh me memory of this great movie.

Best conglomeration of classic movie monsters I’ve seen in a series. Includes almost all of em. I dig the retro wolfman, but he looked to much like Eddie Munster to be scary, had to laugh. Excellent Halloween Candy

What in the ACTUAL F, did I just watch?…Honestly only watched it due to the fact, it is based on a so called true story. Cheesy A.F. and why must the white girl try to dress, talk, and act black? 2/10 and that is being generous.

Of course I don’t condone what she did. But by the same token the mom should have respected the fact the kids were making noise & that’s not ok either. Kids should be taken to the park. Why should neighbors have to put up with the noise. Regardless neither one handled it well to say the least. Tragic all around.

Love Seann William Scott. Think he’s really underrated and is a shame he got pigeon holed as either the comedic a$$hole or idiot. Few films I’ve seen where he’s not are great. e.g Wrath of Becky & Bloodline.

I don’t get those people in tv industry. They have shows that goes for ages and nobody is watching those anymore and they lost the point, the track of story(ies).. And then something like this is cancelled, and in this way.. Horrible! I’m so mad!

What a remarkable and beautiful representation of humanity Harry Belafonte was. What he lived through was heartbreaking as well as uplifting. I would love to have seen The Tonight Show that week.
This is a fantastic portrait of that era.
