This was a good watch all the way through. Time-jumping was a little much but not the worst I’ve seen.

Agree, Oscar Isaac is a great actor and can see him giving a great performance with a character like this.

None of their acts were very impressive - especially Chai T’s and Bones! It was a nice surprise to see La Voix again - definitely glad she won last year!

this was an ok show but i have one gripe….and thats they didnt give his mother enough screen time. and anyone and i mean ANYONE!!!!! who has studied ed gein knows that his mother was the reason why he was the way he was. imagine 39 years sleeping in the same room with your mother no privacy no nothing. being told all women are evil…this was Augustus Gein! she was the true monster. either way good show non the less

D’Eanna has no effing business with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The woman has 0 knowledge of starship operations in ANY sector. Doctor Crusher has displayed more than once why she carries the rank of Commander with her understanding of ship operations, not D’Eanna. Ro Laren would even be a better choice of commanding officer to D’Eanna should they find themselves again separated from the entire senior command (I know this was a few episodes back, this just occured to me). I do understand her position on the ship but she doesn’t need that rank to do what she does, nor does she deserve it, the woman don’t even know the representation pi.

I went to Add to Library. Accidentally hit 1 Star. I`ll adjust accordingly after I watch. Very excited for this story.

This is a nice, down to earth movie with real feelings about a “realistic person”. Complicated, willful and to some extent wrong.. Refreshing. Also a beautiful Icelandic environment to enjoy.

Trailer looks really good. Looks like a straight up horror story that’s faithful to the original story and not been jazzed up for some social message.

Errr… You obviously don’t know the story as well as you think. From Wiki ‘The Bride of Frankenstein is a fictional character first introduced in Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus and later in the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein.’

Also, an Oedipus complex; it’s not about having the hots for a monster. It’s about either a Son wanting to sleep with his mother, or a daughter wanting to sleep with her father….

Yea I know the story very well….I read Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s book…and there was no bride for the monster in the original. Hollywood added the bride. But I was making note, that Del Toro would of course remake Hollywoods version…because in the Del Toro movies, the leading lady always has a monster romantisizing her….its a theme Del Toro is obsessed with.

Not hooked yet but reasonable enough to warrant watching the next episode. Let’s see which direction they take this in.

I enjoyed it. Lots of twists and turns. Defiantly worth a watch, kept me entertained (and up all night to get to the end). I’m not mad about spending those hours.

It was a good episode and the acting from the unknown actors should improve as the season goes forward. What irked me a bit was the accent and I’m sorry, but it was not believable at all. I live in a southern state and not many sound like they did. It wasn’t an overpowering accent, but if you can’t do it right, don’t us one.

There was a 7th episode meant to be a Halloween special, “The Night of the Werebear,” but, I can’t find it. One free streaming site has it listed, but no sources. IMDb has ten votes but no reviews.

Only 6.8k votes make up the 7/10 on IMDb, so, surprised it got a second season! “Renegade Nell,” had 10k votes for it’s 7.4 rating, and didn’t.

“Famalam,” 6.8/10 from 2018 only has 489 votes (Hahaha), so, even though a show isn’t watched and has ratings that could’ve been ginned up by a Click-Farm in Kazakhstan, doesn’t mean it isn’t well acted or written to my tastes, but….

Would’ve liked to seen the last ep of this silly show!
