I guess that many have missed this lovely car chase action move 🚀.. Yes you herd me right! 💥ACTION movie💥.
This story is all about Love by an thrown away toy for its Child.. And KOOKY’s struggle to find his way home again.
Can’t we all recognize ourselves in this story?
Also this story isn’t without its villains and conspiracy on many levels.. An absolute “MUST WATCH”

imagine being so brainless that you don’t realize you are a trophy wife xD
imagine trying to pass as working class when your father drove you to school in a Bently.
this is why you stay in your lane people, or you end up looking like a proper tw@
How much do I love that people are rediscovering Pippi Longstocking? Very cool people! Well done!
And if you are in to this kind of old Nordic “craziness”👻, why not take a peak at one of the most epic “Madman from the wild” stories of the same genre.. Dunderklumpen (The ThunderClump ??)
Well here you have something precious and unique🧚♂️.. This is a film about Friendship and the living spirits you find in the deep forests of the north.. A Magic summer dream of sorts.. Not without adventure or villains but still inside the realm of the bearable😄 and mercifully button cute. Like any 70:ies nordic movie it completely lack any traces of the sad swollen macho we see even children’s movies covered by in contemporary times, like salty brownsauce on icecream. If you have children please give them the opportunity to drink from this refreshing, pure source of earth tasting spring water, and why don’t take a gulp or two for your self also at the same time..
Sadly the subtitles aren’t as good as the original dialogue. But one can’t get everything..

Awhh, it’s nearly like me refusing to be the president. All about the freedom, just sayin..
Maybe a trekkie out there can shed some light on why in previous series, Voyager and DS9, the Ferengi were for the most part, very well educated and versed in commerce. In this series the completely feral, primitive space pirates lol, is there a reason I find out later why these particular Ferengi are like this or did their writing just change over the years? Or was this gross misinterpretation of the species?
After Vadim and Hanoi-Jane divorced, he stated that he only put her in the movie because he wanted to embarass her in a typical early 1970 Euro trash movie……..and
For the rest of the time, Jane effortlssly managed to embarass herself everyday, going forward……
Well, his “curse” wasn’t that powerful thou..was it? More like a wet spaghetti fired out of his a-hole with a cheerful-vengeful bravo! plopp..
I mean.. here we are discussing this “cult” classic that has an still active fan club, right? And Hanoi-Jane are still alive and doing very well and actually going strong right now with “the Committee for the First Amendment”.. Compare her to some other 87 year old snodds.. Wouldn’t you like to know that you would be that HOT at 87? Honestly?
Her support for the first amendment project are gonna be huge and put her on an map that will be living long in our hearts and memories.. Just like this cringe, strange, mindblowing and unforgettable pearl will. And what a poster!!
A quote from a blog:
I guess I will never understand what occurs in this film and let’s keep it this way. Will I watch it again? For sure. Will I watch it sober? For sure not.
If you want something more sane of hers.. Go grab a bite of Klute.
Ps. But thanks for the tidbit by the way.
thanks :) Sometimes using the VidScr has them when others don’t
I did find this on another site that points to a host called “fox.”
Glad to learn about this (really enjoyed “what we left behind” about DS9)

The traitors are working really well together. I think it’s because the money goes to charity so they don’t have to be so cutthroat. I want to see a full season of them working together this well. Also how they are talking in plan sight and not hiding it seems kind of new. Seems like usually the traitors avoid each other like the plague.
The release date is on October 17th.
That’s only for the limited theatrical release the Netflix release is November 7th.
Such a massive let down. They spent weeks hyping up the “Home Improvement” reunion that turned out to just be a glorified cameo. Not even characters that repeat for the entire episode.
New traitors if anyone is interested didn’t know about this one.
Top notch acting by Kreuk in this episode. Especially the scene with Todd and the knife.
good copy. Decent plot. Won’t be winning any awards. There’s a short scene after the credits, teaser for a sequel?
This episode is somewhat bitter sweet. The last guest appearance in the October 7th episode of Murder in a Small Town Season 2, titled “Mother Love,” is Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s last TV performance before his passing on July 20, 2025.
Gillian Anderson is the latest to join the cast of Tron 3. The film will follow Leto’s character. Leto plays the titular Ares, who is a program from the Grid that ventures into the real world. It remains to be seen if the film is connected to the previous two films in the franchise other than the setting. Originally, the film was set for a 2025 release date, but it’s possible that the production delays may affect that timeline. Hopefully, we’ll see Leto, Gillian Anderson, and the rest of the cast in Tron: Ares sooner than later.

Can’t remember if I watched this before. So it was basically a first time watch. Hughes is one of the best directors of the late 80’s early 90’s. So many great movies made by him it’s hard to list them all. This one isn’t my favorite but it was a fun watch. Kid in a candy store, 90’s nostalgia, all wrapped in one.

With all these complaints before I even knew what this was I was expecting something very different. It was a great movie all the way through and kept me entertained throughout. It’s poignant, relevant, and suspenseful, definitely worth a watch. I have a feeling that the complaints are coming from people who think ICE are the good guys.
It sounds like this movie has all the right hallmarks to get the complaint dept 24hr hotline going. Great review, btw!

Stupid
I couldn’t imagine this being good, thanks for the verification.
This movie had most of what it needed to be great but never quite hits the mark. The cast is well enough, the obviously had a decent budget, but where the movie mostly falls apart is the actual narrative. It tries to write a relatable, empathetic situation with our main cast member, they try to make us care, but I didn’t. The movie could of been of been saved if they had put more attention on giving us over the top action sequences but they missed that opportunity as well, an example of a movie done similarly and done right in terms of campiness but enjoyable action and relatable characters would be Renfield, this movie is similar in many ways but nowhere near as good. Watch it but it aint great man.
I like this show more with every episode. Even though there aren’t cliffhangers, you never know what’s going to happen next.
Had not watched it since it first aired. Just finished a binge, it was well worth it. Over the last several years Star Trek has just been disappointing. Where have all the good writers, producers and directors gone?
Completely agree, so far out of this, Voyager (a close second), and TNG this is my favorite. Except for Major Kira she can kick rocks.
Lol, SuperPower mainly.. No direct link beyond the childhood inspiration of an adorable costume, the powers you reasonably would need to have to be in a sane balance with the time and powers that surrounds the viewer and so on..
An spiritual heritage if you will.. One could point to superman or the little Spiderman.. But I think one would miss because the dream and need of power are more essentially linked to childhood. Grownups are more inclined to the pragmatic dream of gold, money and gaming. If we go real far back we have Verland blacksmith.. As the former/wrencher of material into the living and value serving machine trough and beyond the edge of the known as Magic.. The tool inventor.. The stretch.. with ALL senses and powers for the extraordinary.. explained and otherwise. Later Tor as the active side and son of Odin the war chief. The King’s super fist. Later David and Jesus.. This is still on the gothic/roman/abrahamic herder culture side ofc.
On the clan and tribal hunter gatherer side.. well since the identification was/is larger as it is bound/integrated with the totem of the clan, and therefor a socially more secure culture, personal expansion trough superpower is not really a thing but rather reputation as a lover or good hunter or trustworthy provider of effective magic/spell carried, non empiric knowledge/projection both to to kill or create. For the whole clan, stories of war and eating of the defeated to gain their clans strength, magic and wisdom etc.. These stories of identity was often manipulated and maintained by an shaman to meet the needs and changes of the times. But as the shaman gained power from having psychologic seeing and access to the underground of the clan he/she was most often a very scary outcast working from out the shadows, protected by the image of madness and as such absolutely not a hero. Less mechanical times, that times.. So Pippi is not bound by a Clan but master of her own destiny, an individualist fighting for her freedom from convention.. Much like some of the DC universe renegades. Superman and Spiderman are pure upholders of the status quo.. working WITH the authorities for conformity. And Soo BOORING!! So maybe linked with SOME of the DC universes super “heros” She was also a strong Girl. Wonderwoman Is a glossy version but how individualistic? Well maybe I’m wrong to give DC the creds..
No not at all, I think you absolutely gave me the information to have more insight into how something like this could in fact be in some way no matter how obscure, related to something like the DC Universe and how such things as many might believe were the start of something, were actually inspired no matter how loosely, that we never would knew about. I want to watch this and re think my inquiry, thank you for your thought out response, you gave me something really interesting to think about.
agree, one of my favorite movies as a young child. My friends and I would always hope and pray that it would be the movie our school would put on the reel to reel, during the last day of school before summer holiday. Thanks for your post, this brings back wonderful, warm memories.
I saw your comment and I just wanted to inquire but you wouldn’t be referring to the same DC Universe that embodies Batman/Superman etc, if so I’d like to know how in the world this is even tied to that universe.

That was remarkably good…
It’s long, but it it holds together nicely and maintains a good pace.
Watched on a large screen with friends; half before a dinner intermission, half after - great movie night.
Highly recommended viewing…
The original source of the DC universe right here.. A bit older.. Yes. A lot better spirit? Oh yeah! Some serious GirlPower here. Everyone trying to put this firecracker in “place” get their lesson. And quick. Police, social officers, school board, the old time crooks coming for her gold.. They all better look out and hold on to their pants. Her friends, her horse and her monkey thou, they get cake, party and presents.. Like it should be! This little adventure is for sure something for the dredged soul to refresh it self with when the negativity of the world is to sad to see.
