I love this show, it’s the first season I’m watching it and although the entire cast is hysterical, I’m really here to watch Jason go off the rails. LOL
This Star Trek for me is the best, i was septic at first but quark and Garak acting is top tier.
It takes a while to get into it but soon you should be dragged into the story.
Also o’brien from next and another character soon do elevate the show.
I rewatch next generation and deep space 9 every 2 years ish without a miss.
The only part of this show that annoy me is major kira back story, the religion side mostly.
I say its worth to finish it but also if you’re suffering just to get through it then might not be your cup of tea.
( also if you look at the documentary on this show the ferengi actually met at night to practice there acting to push the characters the further they could, you shall see them get better and better over the course of the show and the story really deepen also.)
If Babylon 5 taught me anything at all, it’s that good things come from developing such complex back stories, I wouldn’t say I’ve been suffering through DS9. I genuinely like the program and already have deeply rooted opinions on our characters. Odo to me, is the most dynamic and interesting of the bunch (cant say why without spoilers), Quark I hate to love him but I do, Kira annoys me, O’Brien is kind, Cisco’s role is casted and executed perfectly, the few times you DO hear Cisco laugh it’s always a shock because his laugh is as loud as his presence is as Commander, these characters are just so well written and executed, I’m a fan.
the bab 5 ‘universe’ so to speak, somehow engrossed me more and i was gutted when they ended it , star trek was something i had seen before , ds9 was of particular note , but not in anyway better or similar, simply …just as good as. Altho i will pick bab5 out for its charcter interation being more enjoyable , Londo & G’kar being a fine example
I have never met a character I sympathize more with than G’Kar. That poor man, is so deeply spiritual, and honest, has integrity, values transparency and honesty. And literally the poor man is tortured beyond words, both spiritually and physically. Londo’s transition to who he was by the end of Babylon 5, man I could go on for hours. So far, half way through season 2 of ds9 it hasn’t presented any of the epic story arcs that Babylon 5 did…..yet. But I feel something is on the horizon with Odo, specifically the episode that has my curious is the episode where this dude claims to know of a planet through the wormhole where there are many more of his kind, but that particular easter egg was given and left on touched thus far in the series. For this reason alone I am going to watch the series uninterrupted.
I am not sure what language this is, but the subtitles are crap. The translation is very poor and most of the time they don’t even make sense. Too bad because I’d like to watch this movie.
Love Terry Thomas & dig the steampunk era. Nice to see lighter tone Jules Verne.
Just finished season 1, wasn’t sure how I was gonna like this. I have pretty much avoided Star Trek thus far, but my recent space opera binge has left me in a position where this is quite literally all there is left for me to watch in this genre, I guarantee you couldn’t find one I haven’t seen, the space opera binge I have been on is in it’s second month, so out of ALL the ST candidates, I had heard this was more similar to that of Babylon 5, and darker in tone than it’s cousins. Season 1 was surprisingly good, for the most part it’s been a “conflict of the week” format with very short story arcs lasting maybe 2 episodes at best. Hoping to learn more about Odo’s background.
Have you seen tng episode called the chase it has a connection to odo
I would say and only for the reason that so far, this is filling that void I thought I was going to miss when Babylon 5 ended for me. Babylon 5, is without question, the best show I’ve seen, ever, and has my now two all time favourite characters and story arcs both individual and combined, those arcs being Londo’s and G’kar’s, I can’t pick between the two, they have to go side by side. The tones here again very similar, we have slavery, genocide, war, disease, espionage, sabatoge, crime, to name just a few.

The Thudpucker concert is a great example of the Hubley animation style. They were a perfect creative choice to bring Trudeau’s comic strip to life.
So I realized I never commented after finishing this so I will make shit short as I have already stated my opinion on this show in response to other threads. This show, hands down, the best show I have ever seen It is poetry in tv cinema, the characters are the most dynamic I’ve had the pleasure of watching, and the story arcs grab you by the throat and never let go. G’kar and Londo, both individually and combined are my favourite story arcs, of all time, 20/10 on this show. Bravo!
This episode was great, the monologue cracked me up. I also love how he has ballin bands, not the generic churned out stuff on the radio.
Yer welcome. Please let me know if you don’t mind. I’ve got 200+ movies and shows in my library waiting to maybe we watched someday.
Not yet and I need to and will do that next week since I’m on vacation. I forgot I posted a comment about this new drama 2 months ago. Thanks for the reminder.

that was a film …split up into 25 minute segments tictoc style fer ad space
BUT i will stll be looking for season 2 this rocked! i really enjoyed it
Awful. I gave this a chance because of the good cast, hoping it would be a bit like McDonald & Dodds, but the writing is lousy — lame joke after lame joke, character cliches, clumsy dialogue to establish a character’s backstory instead of revealing it organically (ex.: “You’re single and live with your mum”). I couldn’t get through 10 minutes of this. Awful.
The only thing I dislike about this show is its short run time
Pther than that, everything is great. From characters, acting, humor, world building
To be fair the audiobooks are each only like 3-4 hours each. There’s a few minor changes so far to ‘flesh out’ some bits but otherwise pretty true to the original.
Then you have a lot of Binge Watching to accomplish(3 movies released in 2004, 2006, 2008: TV series from 2014-2018). I am sharing the direct PW links here because it is difficult to stumble upon these through the search. A blanket search turns up only the TV series and not the movies. The movies are only found if you remove ‘The Librarian’ from the SEO search box and only list the rest of the title. There is also a link that includes a list of all 3 movies under the search of ‘The Librarian’ but no links to each movie are featured. Perhaps that needs cleaned up/removed?
Also be aware that it is not important that you watch the 3-movies before the 2014-tv show. Though, per it’s ‘educational history dialogue’, it may be beneficial to watch the first 3 movies before watching the OG TV series of 2014-2018. As the 2014 tv series does pay homage to the OG films, throughout it’s 4 season run in a few episodes.
I wonder how old the links are. I spotted one movie with only 1 link so I am wondering if each movie deserves to have additional fresh uploads…hint hint beloved uploaders.

Filming starts in July, maybe ready for release by late fall or early in the new year.
As a trek fan I had a hard time with this one.. So in your opinion is it worth getting to season 2?
It was so far fetched and the characters drove me nuts. Ferangi who woulda thunk it 🙄🤔

Dept. Q has not been renewed for a second season yet. Netflix may be waiting to see how many subscribers watch the series within the first few weeks before deciding whether to bring Goode back to solve more cold cases in Edinburgh. And there is this, the good news is the cast has already expressed interest in returning for “Dept. Q” season two. Let’s hope Netflix does bring it back because of how it ended, and I could see there are many, many more storylines to tell.
That’s sad. I was hoping he parachuted out or something. I liked Nick, but in the end, he betrayed June, so oh well.
yeah I know Nick was like many characters in between a tough rock and a hard place. but he’s defo dead. think of it Joseph had to plant the bomb and then get out of the plane before its set off and Joseph the Bradly Whitford character sadly like a captain who has to go down with the ship, clearly couldn’t go on the plane and try to leave without giving the entire plot away. And Nick clearly didn’t know about the plot and Joseph clearly didn’t want to take the risk to expose the plot. That’s why he and June had that stare, he places his hand above his heart signaling “yep its come down to this and don’t worry I’ll sacrifice myself to achieve this”.
Its rather rather sad actually because if you think about it Nick and Joseph HELPED ALOT in trying to bring Gilead down, both have A LOT of remorse for the extreme carnage they played a part in bringing and both paid dearly for it as Nick truly does love June and wants to be with his child and hates how others have died, and Joseph who truly loved his wife who killed herself over the theocratic fascist dictatorship he helped set up and couldn’t take anymore the strain it was having on her mental health. And I don’t believe in punitive/revenge punishments/death penalties etc but Serena and Lydia got off EASY compared to Nick and Joseph and I think what really punches me in the gut the most is how Hannah is still not reunited with June AFTER ALL THAT LIBERATION which I find is very cruel to do to the audience given this has been a six year plus tv series and we the audience have been wanting at the very least those two reunited. That is something that still bothers me and its why I’ll never rewatch this series and will warn people “enter at your own risk” when watching this series.
Possibly the best episode. Great acting, hated almost everyone =P
IKR? THAT KID!!! I wanted to give her a good old southern attitude adjustment.
hmmmm! this is definitely one of those “enter at your own risk” kind of movies/miniseries/tv shows. On the one hand there are multiple stories that kind of leave you confused but it all makes sense in the conclusion even with the holes in the plot. The acting is great. Not something I’d save for a rainy day, but if nothing else to watch, it goes pretty fast but yes do enter at your own risk.
It’s a 1 camera show with no studio audience of laugh track.
It’s not a sitcom.
Who said this is anything like friends, I hate friends, but I hate this more.
Not every group has to be super diverse with obnoxiously gay, vague racial people.
The topics suck, not realistic and vulgar, not everything has to be about sex.
5/10 is generous for this more like 3/10
Yeah..this was neither that fun or good. Hard time seeing this get more than one season.

please vote me down all you want but this is not a comedy series?? This is almost as bad as “Going Dutch” was and that says a lot. I am still trying to find any reason to smile or chuckle or have well…any kind of reaction?? i hope everyone that said “This is so good” was actually mocking it? i wanna write so much about this and all the “me too” moments as there must have been at least 10 to 15 references to that in the first episodes alone, Never mind about the “spice girl” set up of the group….God this was bad……..

It’s Russian.
Thank you, I thought that it may have been some kind of eastern european dialect.
