Doctor Who has been dead for years. It just needs to be cancelled at this point. Some good news though, that new Librarians show is very reminiscent of classic Doctor Who. I never saw the movies or the other tnt show, but the new series will scratch the itch left by Dr. Boo-Who and his cavalcade of bad writing and identity politics.

As far as Kira goes, I have gone from minimally annoyed, to seething hatred of this character. She is belligerent, judgemental, hypocritical, racist, and damn near supports religious fanaticism so long as it’s in the name of the Bajoran people. O’Brien’s wife was almost burned alive by her people and she didn’t bat an eye, she never chastised them for setting a bomb on their station, but Quark is a THREAT because he runs a casino and occasionally deals in minor contraband, she makes me sick.

This movie isn’t that bad. It sure had a star studded cast. I know it wasn’t well received by the critics but it is funny the animals were so cute. Benicio del Toro is so young in this. I bet it cost a fortune to make that’s for sure. In my opinion Big Adventure, Big Holiday and this one comes in third.

This was excellent quality. It’s too bad it’s Netflix. They will probably cancel it, even though this couldn’t have cost that much to make.

Loved this when I saw it years ago & watched it several times, once w/the director’s commentary which was fascinating. Need to watch it again since it’s been a very long time. Very quirky coming of age story.

Awesome series and great season finale

Germany has a strict system for recognizing foreign degrees especially from non-EU countries so many were stuck doing low skill work or unemployed. If they were even aloud to work. Many people waited 2 years just to be authorized to work or even attend official integration courses. It’s not like Germany was ready for the million plus refugees anyways. They lacked enough language programs, housing, or vocational support. A very difficult situation to be in for both sides. Despite all this, it appears 73% of Syrian men are employed 7 years after immigrating to Germany. I learned all of this in 10 minutes on my phone halfway around the world.

The release date is wrong, it will be released in November. Since Frankenstein is coming out in November, Maggie Gyllenhaal was originally going to debut The Bride September 26, 2025, but pushed it back to next year to give a bit more distance from del Toro’s Frankenstein.

Gave it a try, but didn’t even make it halfway through the first episode. I was hoping it was going to be something like “The Magicians”(great series, BTW), but it just felt a bit juvenile to me. I may give it another go in the future if nothing else happens to be on.
