Your brain has been so cooked by politics you’re now calling other Trump voters Communists for telling you to show respect for other people. If you have the ability to self-reflect, think about that.

The Shipment (2018)
Birdsforme 1 points 7 months ago.

Full story squeezed into 30 minutes. Overall done well, with one exception. Those huge animals would have needed more than 1 bucket of grain for all 6, and would have had to have separate feeders .

if one cant see the crossroads we are now at, we deserve the horror coming our way. it actually is probably too late now.If they elected a felon, sexual predator and anti constitutional dictator after all his examples of unsuitability then there is no hope that anyone else could win. The republicans have made their choice and as a hive mind have screamed “GIVE US BARABBAS”

One of those movies that when it finishes you have more questions than answers. Was a nice little weird movie about a mid life crisis. 7/10

This movie was way over the top with overkill. Feels like they used video game logic shooting thousands of rounds making the bad guys into swiss cheese. Beyond that meh… it wasn’t terrible but just not great.

Bigger budget, but also more people involved. I do spend half each episode poised on the edge of my seat, still.

Betrayals, but also proofs of loyalty abound in this one.

Biggest issue: Sean is a control freak and he and his spouse could not conceive, so he latched on to giving his wife what she wanted. Guaranteed Dylan is father to ALL the kids. There is waaaay to much animosity in this group. It is palatable and Sean is the instigator that will bring this house of flimsy cards down. All in all, Poly can work, if all the members get along and don’t have ulterior motives. NOT the case here. As a very important side note; children deserve and are entitlement to their biology. This group is confusing consent for adults, with knowledge for children. Repulsive, to its core. And NOT because this is poly, because it’s a lie to gleen children from people who aren’t baren, like Sean is.

Gone Before His Time: Freddie Prinze Sr. (2023)
random000 3 points 7 months ago.

Loved Freddie with Jack Albertson on Chico & The Man as a kid. Dick Gregory is said to believe that before Freddie died, that he was upset over the murder of Kennedy & had the then hard to get full Zapruder film. According to Gregory Freddie’s concern over this matter was too much for agencies.

I agree 100%. The current exploiting of our planet and it’s wildlife should be a concern for all, but I think people that tend to exploit do so in many areas. I was trying to keep my comments general as to make this about the film and not create a battle between factions.

magically_delicious 1 points 7 months ago*.

I understand and appreciate your efforts.
It’s worth stating that there is a person responsible for creating a more toxic environment and enabling a crisis for these species, which include the Pangolin. It’s a world issue, not a faction issue, IMO.

Also, I’m NOT American and my comment is GLOBALLY relevant.

The attention to scenic and cultural detail is amazing. I remember being absolutely annoyed by “space sci-fy shows” in which all the Aliens in the whole universe would speak in New York vernacular English (something rediculously specific of sorts). The cinematography is amazing too. Script wise now, the fake insurgency idea that serves the Empire is nuanced in a similar manner and is equivalent to the aesthetics. Very impressed. Its like a magnifying glass looking into the Star wars universe.

Did you play the TLOU Part 2 game? I don’t think you did.

If you did you would understand the story from Abby’s point of view and not be saying, “Sweet sweet revenge…no rest for the wicked. Make her pay, long and slow…”

The doctor and the surgical team were not armed.

All I said was both Ellie and Abby have equal motivation for revenge. Abby may have even more justification for revenge since Joel killed her real father and Joel has been in Ellie’s life for just a few years.

Maybe if you played the LAST OF US - PART 2 game you would probably understand this easier.

But thus far the series has been following the same plot line as the game.

And Ellie was a little girl lying on a hospital gurney and he was about to kill her. To hell with the “first do no harm” oath that doctors take, eh? He wasn’t giving her up when asked to. Abby tortured Joel. She was an evil Firefly. He saved her from the infected, and he didn’t have to do that. Not even at all.

Not at all. And nothing against your opinion. There is a distinct difference between murdering an person for their brain, by a DOCTOR, and defending someone and then again further, torture vs, shooting. You have an opinion, that’s yours. It’s not everyone’s and there is NO equivalence at all.

Will, this is a different take on an alien invasion. I’m going to assume it will have subtitles, so I’ll need to make sure I have nothing to do while watching it.
