This movie was way over the top with overkill. Feels like they used video game logic shooting thousands of rounds making the bad guys into swiss cheese. Beyond that meh… it wasn’t terrible but just not great.

Dig discovering classic stuff we never heard of because we were touring & missed out on a lot. Both Dern & Stewart are favorites, so taking this for a spin later tonight.

I agree 100%. The current exploiting of our planet and it’s wildlife should be a concern for all, but I think people that tend to exploit do so in many areas. I was trying to keep my comments general as to make this about the film and not create a battle between factions.

The attention to scenic and cultural detail is amazing. I remember being absolutely annoyed by “space sci-fy shows” in which all the Aliens in the whole universe would speak in New York vernacular English (something rediculously specific of sorts). The cinematography is amazing too. Script wise now, the fake insurgency idea that serves the Empire is nuanced in a similar manner and is equivalent to the aesthetics. Very impressed. Its like a magnifying glass looking into the Star wars universe.

All I said was both Ellie and Abby have equal motivation for revenge. Abby may have even more justification for revenge since Joel killed her real father and Joel has been in Ellie’s life for just a few years.

Maybe if you played the LAST OF US - PART 2 game you would probably understand this easier.

But thus far the series has been following the same plot line as the game.

And Ellie was a little girl lying on a hospital gurney and he was about to kill her. To hell with the “first do no harm” oath that doctors take, eh? He wasn’t giving her up when asked to. Abby tortured Joel. She was an evil Firefly. He saved her from the infected, and he didn’t have to do that. Not even at all.

Wow really….I didn’t know that. What exactly is he doing to target these creatures? I’m just curious because I honestly wasn’t aware of this. I couldn’t agree more on stopping the hate.

Always felt Vicki Lewis was underutilized, but love love Lee Evans since 1st seeing him here then in Something About Mary. He’s mostly a stand-up comic though, so he’s very fun to check out on stage.
