really good and charming and funny. only downside is hard to keep track of so many diff one-off characters in the case-of-the-week style. but the main relationship chemistry carries it

Unapologetically mental and amazing. I watched the first Sisu yesterday. 2 films and the lead character only says onw line. That’s a special kind of acting to be able to pull that off.

Plot is full of holes…would never happen…watching because I’m bored and I like shoot ‘em ups.

Update: Dropped after teens “successfully” hit the trap house…such nonsensical crap!

Really enjoyed the other seasons. Really sad about Andy Whitfield (Spartacus in the first season) who died. He was an awesome actor, loved him in Gabriel, though the actor who took over did a good job I think AW was soooo much better at the role.

Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey, I’m in. I see it’s created by Kurt Sutton. I wonder if it’s related to Sons of Anarchy somehow, since the last names of some of the characters are ‘Teller’. Interesting…

I didn’t know this was even in the works to come back. I cant lie. There’s a lot of other post apocalyptic shows I’d rather see. The return of this feels ominous. Probably pushed by the same people that want to see a Rush Hour 4?lol

Well, now, this should be interesting to say the least. Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey in a western that takes place in Washington Territory in 1854, and they are two widowed matriarchs battling to survive. Release date is Thursday, December 4th.

Actually, they have something they call the rules of acquisition, which they take very seriously, and any breach of that is considered a serious violation. Not a religion so much as a moral/business code. You break that and you can get basically un-ferengi-ed. You will no longer be able to do business, which is the worst thing that can happen to any of them.

What a great fun movie. I had high expectations, and it didnt dissapoint. practical effects make all the difference when it comes to creature creation, and Elle Fanning is amazing and really funny. Fun fact: the predator actor did really carry her on his back for the scenes.

Prey, Killer of Killers, and Badlands… Three solid movies back to back from Predator franchise. I cant wait to see what will come next.

Three things you need to take into account; TNG (1987) predates DS9 (1993) and Voyager (1995) and is their introduction of the Ferengi. All species have their dimwits lol And last, being the first season of the show, everyone (writers as well as actors) are learning as they go. Hope that helped. :)

Twixtid 1 points 4 days ago.

I actually preferred them to the Ferengi I was used too from DS9, deviously hilarious they were.

Checking it out now.. I will watch as much as I am able. This is a super poor quality production, from script to lighting and everything in between. A story of hard right christianity and end times of it all. Meant to scare and made to conform. I tried to find the origin story for the production. I want to know who is backing this movie… slovenly steve bannon perhaps? He has that apocalyptic dominionist lunacy bent. But so far I can find no names save one. But Idk him…writer/director Christopher Tempel.

Omg… they brought the guns out. The Dad is trying to kill his son, how loving? Hard right christianity is hard lols… Apparently if you keep the Sabbath as the Jews and Messianic Jews do, then you will be alright in the end days. Just make sure you know when it’s Saturday. Good grief. Not sure I can bear much more of this drivel. I have to go out. In general, it’s apparent this movie is out to move the youth to become some type of christie… the hard right apocalyptic christie. God bless us all good grief… Putting this on pause. Not sure I will come back to it. They are promising the Messiah in the final scene. Do I want to see their interpretation of that?? Lols… Good Lordt lols

That was a nice touching straight forward movie. Really pulls on those heart strings. No thrills or side tracks, just a story about a fallen hero and his journey home. 7.5/10

The Dresden Files (2007)

I noticed a lot of people seemed to like this from the comments, but I couldn’t stomach it. I read all of the books that came out and literally couldn’t put them down as I got my hands on them, real page turners. But barely made it through the first episode, they utterly made a total comedic mess of this. turned the guys staff into a hockey stick, and that alone really ticked me off. Ruined the whole darn thing for me. Just tuned it into a slovenly mess. If people had actually read any of the books in the series, much less all of them, they would have nothing but utter contempt for this,

They definitely should have kept going with this show. I kind of want them to do a remake but that’s hit or miss and this would be easy for them to miss on.

Well, just banged out the whole first season. Thinking about waiting a bit on the second season, let a few more episodes drop before I get started on that, this is kind of addicting. Might let the whole season get loaded first, then get started into it.
