Is This Goodbye, Charlie Brown? (TV Short 1983) (1983)
hadam10rose 5 points 5 days ago.

I kind of thought this was a dream, I don’t remember Snoopy without Linus or Lucy. I found a torrent of “all” the Snoopy shorts and this wasn’t in it, guess it wasn’t all after all.

Nicely written and had me all choked up. “Deserve’s got nothing to do with it” was a line from “Unforgiven,” slightly changed and used again here. Good one tho.

Sounds interesting and saw a highlight for it and I don’t think this is going to be the typical medical show.

So, I am 5 Episodes into this series and I am absolutely underwhelmed to say the least.
I will watch the remaining three episodes just to see where this goes, but would I highly recommend watching this series? No.

I love these old cartoons. I was wondering how could this cartoon be in color when color didn’t appear in TV shows until years later. It turns out this was a theatrical release and films have been in color since the 1930’s.

So this is supposedly set a decade before TOS, yet somehow their technology is lightyears ahead of anything we saw on NCC-1701. And I really aint the sexist type, but where are all the alpha males man? Over the years we’ve had Spok, Chukotay, Paris, Worf, Sisko, Archer, Tucker, Riker, two dudes on this show and they both looked like they just got out of a college hazing, and don’t even get me started on Burnham, I hope she gets written off like next week. I want to like this, but it’s getting increasingly difficult with every episode.

Meh. Eh.. At least not a full SSS “Slurpy Stallone Staggering”.. 🤡
Some holes here and there.. A bit compressed to fit the 90 min window as usually, but absolute not terrible for the normally brain dead audience we constitute, or boring. Shooting, blood and death enough to not trigger an abstinence.. i.e The normal amount.
The daughter was a bit cute in the head for her size.. but that’s not so strange with that dad..
But it must be about some kind of pandering to the secret daddy dream, People can’t really be like this right? Not even in the now Great Again Americas? But whom knows.. Daddy daughter ballroom dancing, small kids Missus Competitions and all strange things you got going on. Maybe this actually is a window in to reality? 😳😬 🥺 Please tell..

There will be a third season of The Terror, titled “The Terror: Devil in Silver,” which is scheduled to be released in 2025. The new season will be a six-episode horror anthology based on Victor LaValle’s novel The Devil in Silver and will star Dan Stevens as a man wrongfully committed to a mental hospital.

2026 air date is a possibility, too.

Yeah.. Absolutely. Souls transcends and fill it self up to become spirit when “self” identify with the needs and well being of the “other”, the world, the eternally moving river of life. It accepts it as mother of all. The womb. Tara. True, lovely and terrible. The world become one and true to it self and heals and become whole. Holy.. The goddess Hel(nordic whole). Heil holy Hel! 🥰 🌏️🍁🌿

wow what an incredible movie. Tahar Rahim was stellar and of course Jodi was too. I am sure I’ve watched Tahar in other movies but his performance brought out the realism of the horrors and terroristic abuse of what the soldiers did to the detainee’s at Gitmo. It is a slow movie but if the watch sticks with it all the build up is so worth it. I’m so glad I finally took the time to watch it all the way through this time.

Either there are too few episodes or I just watch them too darned fast. They do a great job with this series. It’s more entertaining/likable than some of the similar shows (selling sunset, etc) and Ryan has a very watchable quality. He’s had a good character arc thru all the shows he’s been in (weird thing to say about a “real” person but I assume a bit of acting in a reality based show). I look forward to the next season

I could not interfere, by virtue of the Primewire Prime Directive, but when you mentioned Discovery was next on your list….it was difficult not to warn you. Lol. Welcome to the melodramatic, over-emotive, worst chapter in the Trek universe. It has good episodes but they are the exception, not the rule.

I admit I haven’t watched all the seasons, but I have watched a lot. This is one of the most boring IMO. No characters are real athletes or real likeable to me. Oh and WHY do they tell others when they find an idol? It always backfires. Have you watched past seasons? Keep it to yourself dlummies One another note, these latest seasons are missing a bunch of games I liked. When the families come and play one game to spend the day or night with their loved one. I also miss food auctions. I also thought it was nice that they use to be able to sneak food back from sanctuary or other food prizes and give it to a friend or even the whole group, It was always a nice break. Any other games you miss?

chazw0zz3r 1 points 6 days ago.

yeah! why DID they get rid of the food auction, that was always the best/most fun, these new seasons are so neutered

Dr. Walter Bishop: Like Mata Hari using her feminine wiles to accomplish her evil ends. And I too fell prey. She used my stomach to get through to my heart. NEVER GETS OLD. John Noble should have won numerous awards for his character. Long live Denethor, steward of Gondor. Oh wait too late.

One of my favorite TV show lines of all time! This really is his best role to date. Nobody nominated for an Emmy but several of them won Saturn awards (sadly, not John).

Yeah, so did I. Thumbnail says ‘to be determined’, so I looked it up, not having a lot of hope, thinking this would be a one of, but it would seem that ‘due to the shows popularity’ they are talking about bringing it back for another season. That sounds like a plan to me. Nothing is set in stone yet, and they seem to have a lot of ideas on how to go about doing it, but like I said, nothing set it stone yet. Would be great to see more of this.
