BUT Duke is portrayed as a will less, posturing man child with wiskers, designed to fancy self-indulgent women of the todays world and time. (Kind of is the whole economic model of the show isn’t it) In 1870ies he would have stood out as a beacon of feminism and a staunch suffragette enabler.. We don’t see him getting any flack for that. Not at the station or anywhere.. It breaks the portrait of the era and his character and lessen the possible drama the premises offer. It is contradictory and lessen the show to become pure female emotional self serving porn, without any regard to male viewers and their feelings. It is borderline abusive against the male experience.. Duke obviously is Fatherless and an mother bound child. Which is absolutely ok. Also that experience exist.. But it introduces deep contradictions which, if encouraged, could have real‑life consequences in our contemporary society, especially in the growing disparity between the main genders in terms of communicative ability and mutual reachability concerning deep and prosperity ensuring understanding.
If we turned this narrative around gender‑wise, we would directly spot serious issues from a Feministic standpoint.. That is why the same issue exist here.. From a Feministisc view point, this is clear and pure chauvinism.. And as such a part of the increasing abuse of the male existence as beings of power. And don’t bring me that CEO crap.. How many such do we know..

I really like this new antagonist, she’s pretty convincing, kinda like an angry post war Russian military type lol. I had said this earlier, but the Shrike’s presentation was very similar to the reveal of the Schimitar in Nemesis, this season looks like it’s shaping up to be far better than the previous 2.

To anyone new to Blackadder, series 1 is very different to 2,3 and 4. I’m personally not keen on S1 so dont give up if you don’t like it, just skip straight to S2.
I think the later series were much better in the more confined sitcom style, certainly a lot funnier.

Yeah, this was a great one. I can tell they are going to end this series, even though it only had three seasons with a bang. First 2 were pretty darn good so far.

I watched episodes 1 and 2 and then decided to stop and wait until they were all released so I could binge them all. Today is that day! Yessss!!!

Bittersweet and fitting ending. Nice surprise. Lots of wisdom throughout this episode we all can apply to our own real lives. No loose ends left with this short 4 seasons tv series. Well done.

This was very inspirational as I can relate on many levels. Could not have picked better leading actors! I hope Foster and Sweeney get some type of awards or nomination for this.

Does anyone know why this one stopped? Was it replaced with the altered “The 1% Club Rollover” instead?

Why do they insist on screwing about with shows that work?? The original “1% Club” quiz show is fine as it was (British version anyway), yet they just had to muck about with it and make changes. :-(

This season seems like it’s shaping up to be more on the level of Nemesis, I hope that hold’s true. The previous 2 season’s although the actual plot’s were decent, they really fell short on execution in my eye’s, this was a really REALLY good start to season 3, I just hope it keeps pace. Super glad to see alot of the old crew back on set, Riker’s my main homie.

This movie is very strange and slow. Overall very mid grade horror. Oz Perkins has gotten a lot of clout because of Longlegs, but it seems like that was really the only shot he had in the gun. Everything else he’s done has turned out to be relatively mediocre. God knows The Monkey sucked out loud.
